“A perfect place for a short break: peaceful, quiet and comfortable.”

The Stables is compact, well equipped and although small, has everything you need. The décor in soft greys, white and yellow highlights gives a modern feel to the clean and well maintained property. We will definitely book again.

“The Stable is a delightful cottage in a peaceful location.”

Matt and Di, the owners, were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is ideally situated for visiting castles like Pembroke, beaches like Amroth, Manorbier and Tenby and great for walks. The cottage has all you could need for your stay and has its own parking. Also, the wi-fi is good enough to stream a film to your laptop or tablet. We would definitely recommend it.

A very nice welcome pack with essentials and lovely Welsh Cakes. Matt and Di are on hand should you need anything but are happy that you come and go as you please. Wiseman’s Bridge, Amroth and Colby Woodland Gardens (National Trust) are all close by. Highly recommended!

The welcome basket was much appreciated and we loved the little lights creating ambiance in the bedroom. We weren't short of anything during our stay, even tea, coffee and sugar was provided. Our hosts also ensured we had a ready supply of wood for the log burner which kept us warm in the evenings.

After our long and eventful drive it was so welcoming to find a really helpful "welcome pack" on our arrival. We found the cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and so cosy, especially with the log fire. Quiet and peaceful in a lovely countryside setting yet close to the Pembrokeshire coast around the Tenby area an ideal location to explore South West Wales. We will recommend this cottage to family and friends and we hope to be back again.

The accommodation had plenty of space & was really well appointed. Lovely comfy bed & a super feather duvet - what a win! Great log fire with fuel included & a really thoughtful welcome pack. The hosts were friendly & helpful. Another bonus was the setting - quiet with good views but just a short trip from lots of different locations all worth a visit.

“I did say it would have been nice to have the grass cut.”

It also needs a chair of some sort in the bedroom to put your clothes on when going to bed. Inside the chest of drawers the screws need shortening as too long and could catch your clothes, But on the whole a. Very nice place to stay, but a bit remote

“A cosy cottage for two in an idyllic situation.”

Spotlessly clean and a lovely tray of essentials provided on arrival. Perfect area for walking and relaxing. Although we did not meet the owners as they were away at the time, they made regular contact with us to check everything was in order and that we had no issues or problems with the property. As many before us have said, we will definitely be rebooking at some stage as there is just so much to enjoy in the area. Thank you again to Matt and Di.

Decorated and furnished in a modern style but still keeping some original bare stone walls of the original stable. The hosts Matt and Di are friendly and helpful and while situated in a quiet countryside setting, it is close to so many beautiful beaches and walks you could need.

When we arrived there was a thoughtful food basket laid out for us containing some supplies for breakfast etc. The cottage was warm and welcoming and we settled in straight away. The hosts Matt and Di are lovely friendly people. The nearest beach at Amroth is wonderful for going for a walk whatever the weather. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

The property was a perfect size for us as a couple. It was really nicely furnished, lovely and clean, and the owners (Matt & Di) were very helpful. It was wonderful to have such thought go into our stay, with food items already bought for us. An issue with the shower was quickly fixed and even the bad weather didn't diminsh our break.
