This is an amazing place to stay, being in the middle of nowhere where you can be one with wildlife.

Watching the kites fly round you is an incredible feeling. The cottage is a lovely place to stay, never have we stayed in a cottage so well stocked with everything you would need. Malcolm and his family were incredibly welcoming, giving us insight to wonderful places to visit. With this is mind, nothing beats a day after your adventures sitting in the hot tub watching the stars and listening to nature itself.

We had a wonderful break with family and the dogs everything we needed and Malcolm the owner was very friendly and helpful would recommend for a peaceful relaxing holiday for all.

And will be definitely be returning

This is an amazing place to stay.

As a family of 8 we all have an amazing tranquil time. The kids had the best time in the hot tub. We were greated by malcolm and he give us great advice where 2 go. We will definitely be back. Everything you need it there for u it was like home from home. Perfect holiday loved it.

The property and the views were amazing.

The night sky from the Hot tub was something else. It's a great base for exploring the local area with beaches only 30 mins away. Property owners are lovely people and offer information on best places to eat etc. Would definitely recommend Aberdauddwr.

The view at this cottage is exceptional.

The house had everything we need and the owner was very welcoming and helpful with directions on where to eat and what to visit. We will be happy to return.

We stayed here for three nights over Christmas 2024 - there were six of us; myself and my husband, our three 20 year old sons plus my mum and there was plenty of space for all of us!

The hot tub and views were incredible and perfect for a cold winter’s day. The house itself is fabulous with everything we needed to host Christmas. Malcolm was incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to visit etc, and when we had a problem with the hot tub, he was really quick to respond and replace the plug, even on Christmas Eve. All in all it was a 10/10 stay and we hope to stay again in the future ♥️

We had a lovely holiday here.

The cottage was clean and well equipped and the views over the valley were amazing. We spent time in the hot tub with the sun setting over the valley and red kites circling over head. If you are searching for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings this is a really good choice. The owners were helpful, very friendly but unobtrusive.

Really nice cottage with plenty of space, nice and secluded set way back from the road and picturesque setting to relax in.

It has lots of greenery and the views are great. Malcom Davies, was more than accommodating. It was easy right from booking until check out. I would definitely reccomend it. Be prepared for a great stay.

Just back from a wonderful weekend at Aberdauddwr.

As promised Malcolm was there to greet us and explained everything we needed to know ! The farm house is so homely and comfortable has everything you need for a perfect family break, even milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and biscuits too !! Our Grandson was amazed by the cows ! The hot tub was just the cherry on the cake !!

We had a girls weekend away, age range from 16 to 50 and this place certainly did not disappoint, the house itself is fantastic, so much space for everyone, the rooms are gorgeous and the views are something else.

Malcolm and his 2 daughters were on hand for anything we needed at any time. The hot tub was amazing and the outside area is just as spacious and fantastic as inside. We will definitely be returning here for another girls weekend. Wagfest 24 xx

This gorgeous cottage is a lovely country hideaway! Malcolm our host popped in and went through everything. The hottub was fab! And above us flew beautiful birds of prey. Lovely and quiet for our son who is Autistic. Only stayed fof 2 nights! Will be booking a week again soon. Highly recommend.

Lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful area!

We loved our weekend away here.

The property was the right size for 6 adults and 3 kids under 3 years old, plus one small dog! Malcom greeted us when we arrived and straight away made us feel at home. The rooms were comfy, the kitchen was full of utensils and the hot tub was a fantastic addition. We will 100% be coming back again soon!

We enjoyed a lovely family gathering at Aberdauddwr cottage.

The views of the hills and the kites flying overhead from the cottage and hot tub create a feeling of being in the middle of no where. The cottage has everything you would need, a roomy kitchen diner fully equipped, 2 good showers, 4 double bedrooms with wardrobes, 1 being downstairs and one cot room. The downstairs bedroom was lovely and cool in the heat. All very roomy and clean with great views from each room. Lots of local guides and maps to help get the best from your visit but Malcolm has lots of local knowledge which he is happy to share. Malcolm was a great host, very welcoming and helpful.

Absolutely love this holiday home.

Everything is provided for a relaxing holiday for a large family. Enjoyed the snowboarding at Llangrannog Ski Centre 1/2 drive away and Epic Sea fishing at Aberystwyth .. they just added to our to enjoyment. Wasn't our first holiday at this beautiful home and definitely won't be our last.

Everything was amazing great location and the hosts were really good and even sent us an email of all the local places to visit we had the best family time and we can not wait to book again waking up to cows just outside your window was the highlight for us hot tub lovely too from Emily tom willow and Esme

Fantastic family farmhouse with plenty of social space and storage space. Huge Kitchen / dining area and nice big sofas and lounge. Bedrooms and bathrooms all very well appointed and in great condition. Hot Tub is in a fantastic location looking over the valley and the wildlife is just stunning. At least 3 or 4 pairs of Red Kites who circle low around the property all day long as well as Buzzards, and lots of other wildlife and young cattle in the field. Malcolm is a fantastic host and very knowledgeable about the local area as well Highly recommended

With three toddlers, two kids, six adults and one dog there were lots of people to please but every single one of us had the best time and only had positives to say about our stay here. Malcolm was so helpful and couldn't do more for us. He made it all so easy and the cottage was great for group bookings and families with small children. We will not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and hope to come back in the near future

Lovely, spacious accommodation close to Lampeter Town.

It was lovely being out in the countryside but still close to civilisation. Malcolm was a great, very knowledgeable host with good recommendations. We spent a lot of our time in the huge kitchen as a family - played what felt like endless scrabble games which were provided also. The outlook of the property is outstanding and the kites in the fields all day long. We will definitely return and am looking forward to it.

A lovely week spent here, we didn’t want to go home.

The owner brought us fresh veg during our stay and checked we were fine from time to time. Sitting in the hot tub watching the Red Kite and Buzzards flying over was excellent. We will definitely be back!

The property was excellent and more than we expected.

The hot tub was a great surprise, it was used by all of us and added to the relaxed holiday feel. The beautiful scenic location and the night stars (Big Dipper) were amazing. There was more than enough room for all six of us.

What a stunning property!

It has everything! The scenery was beautiful and it was so lovely and peaceful that it was a cottage on its own. The hot tub was lush and the inside decor was stunning. Loved the whole layout of the property so spacious and a huge kitchen which had a beautiful table we could all eat dinner together on. Loved the small touches like the board games for game night. We had such a wonderful time celebrating my mums 60th and Malcolm was so welcoming and accommodating giving us some amazing recommendations also. We will definitely be returning it was the perfect getaway for a staycation and so many lush places to visit nearby like Aberaeron, Lampeter and Newquay.

My family had a great visit, the kids loved the hot tub and spotting the local wildlife! Malcolm was very welcoming and gave some great advice on where to visit. The scenery and beaches nearby are fantastic, a perfect get away! The house was clean and tidy, I would highly recommend this property.

Aberdauddwr is a beautiful house over looking rolling hills.

It's well equipped and a home from home. The views are stunning. We had an amazing holiday exploring the area and relaxing in the hot tub admiring the views and seeing the cows in the next field. Malcolm is so welcoming and recommended lots of places to visit and places to eat out. We really enjoyed visiting New Quay, Llangrannog , Aberporth, Carmarthen, Cardigan and Aberystwyth. It was really nice having fresh milk, biscuits and flowers on arrival. We had the best holiday and miss the house and area already. We cannot recommend the place enough and hope to stay again.

Five of us visited as a annual reunion and had a wonderful time.

Lovely property which is well kept in a stunning and private location. We were greeted by the owner on arrival who showed us round the property and gave us all the information of nearest shops and best places to visit while we stayed. Owner regularly checked the hot tub throughout the week to ensure it was clean for us and had enough water in. The views from the property are stunning also, would definitely visit again.

The amount of positive feedback with regards to the property and Malcom the owner speaks volumes, I have returned to this property on a number of occasions and have not had a bad word or experience to mention. Such a great location very peaceful, full of character and a fab hot tub to sit in at night with a few cold drinks. This was such an amazing getaway, it was above and beyond what we expected from the pictures!

Malcolm was such a great host always checking on us, providing all the recommended restaurants and activities! We will definitely be coming back when there is better weather but even with the rain it was such a lovely stay and we still used the jacuzzi multiple times! Thank you so much

I got very cold because the owner of the cottage did not let the heat go on overnight!

He accused us of stealing tools from the garage even though it wasn't true! we are very disappointed and do not recommend this cottage

Cottage in in a great location, peaceful and quiet but with lots of areas to visit and explore within an hours drive.

Outstanding views from the cottage. Owner was very attentive and helpful during our stay. Settee in lounge is not the most comfortable and kitchen is tired, but don't let this put you off. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, the description and pictures did not do the cottage justice and we had the most relaxing stay.

The hot tub was amazing, as was the log fire in the lounge and the kitchen had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The owners Malcolm and Ann were on hand if we needed them and were happy to provide recommendations for places to visit in the area. The offer of a ride of the quad bike and the fresh milk on arrival were much appreciated. We had a wonderful stay with plenty of room for all 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children) and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

A lovely cottage which felt like home.

Malcolm the owner was very helpful giving us ideas of where to visit. The addition of the hot tub was a really nice touch. We all came home relaxed and will be back in the future.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped.

It’s in a fantastic spot which is very quiet with a wonderful view across the Welsh countryside. This is especially good from the hot-tub which was great fun after a day out. The owners Malcolm and Anne are very welcoming and we’re always available for advise if required. All in all we had a very enjoyable week away and would definitely go back.

A fantastic farmhouse with plenty of space and set in beautiful surroundings, watching the beautiful red kites whilst relaxing in the hot tub was superb.

Beautiful beaches and fantastic places to visit nearby an overall fantastic holiday home, will definitely be booking again.

This holiday home is set in a peaceful location with stunning views.

The house is equipped with everything you will need for your holiday. Rooms are furnished to a very high standard and very comfortable beds. Mr Davies provided a lot of information of different places to visit. The fresh milk that was made available to us was so tasty. Supermarket only 5 minutes drive away and Lampeter it's self had some lovely shops to explore. The spacious hot tub was a welcoming way to wind down after our days out. Whole family and Charlie the dog had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday ... No one wanted to leave.

It's also within easy reach of many places in Ceredigion like Aberaeron, Cardigan, Mwnt and Aberystwyth, just to name a few. Marholm, the owner, is very, very kind and helpful. We were desperate for a relaxing break and that is exactly what we got!

The idyllic, secluded and peaceful location were the main qualities we enjoyed the most.

It's looks from the pictures like you are attached to another property, but it is not. The view is absolutely brilliant. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. The owners are so nice and really helpful. Really great stay!!

Absolutely perfect UK break.

So many beaches and places to go within a short driving distance. The house was huge and extremely spacious, plus the fact that it was private and on its own was even nicer! We are planning on going back sometime maybe next year again! Would 100% recommend and Malcolm us extremely polite and helpful. Could not have asked for a better break away for my boyfriends 21st birthday.

Fantastic holiday, 6 of us want and there was plenty of room in the cottage for all of us.

Brilliant area, only half hour drive to multiple beaches. Very friendly and attentive host, gave us examples of the best beaches/walks/takeaways, at the end of the phone for help at all times. The whole cottage felt very clean and well kept, made us feel comfortable with the current situation with Covid-19. Thank you Malcolm and family for a great week away.

It was a perfect place to relax and get away from everything. The house was very comfortable and clean and the views from the patio and hot tub were amazing. It’s a great location for visiting large junks of the Welsh coast which is stunning. The cottage is also handy as Lampeter is close with a Sainsbury’s and Coop so easy to shop for anything you need. Malcolm was very helpful advising on places to go - a really lovely helpful owner! We had a really fabulous time, thank you!

Lovely place kitchen very dated but else where in the cottage was beautiful.

The cleaning wasn’t great soap left in bathroom from others. Owner was lovely left us milk and cakes so that was lovely but found it strange that he came up nearly every day

A beautiful cottage in which the owners have thought carefully about everyday things that are needed.

Tastefully decorated, with good size rooms. Perfect, peaceful location with lots of space for the children to play, yet stay safe. Perfect location for exploring the local area. We had some fabulous days out. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home. A brilliant weekend had by all. Thank you!

Beautiful farmhouse with views across the valley.

Very secluded with no one around, the host met us at the property, explained everything and gave advice on local things to see and do with our family and friends. The house is in fantastic condition, clean and tidy with everything you'll need to keep all ages happy. The hot tub was great, perfect for 4 adults to relax in under the stars. Our friends and I had a fantastic weekend and would highly recommend, a car is essential for this location.

The views, the location for walking, biking and visits to the coast.

The very helpful and friendly owners who lived near by. Malcolm even set up our firework display on Hallowen! The hot tub wad a real bonus after our walks and biking.

The cottage was beautiful it had everything we needed the views were stunning the hosts were exceptional the lady even made welsh cakes for us, it had a welcome hot tub which made the grandchildren very happy.

It was situated close to Lampeter Aberiroen and New Quay and when your 11 year old granddaughter says this was the best holiday break ever amd she would like go and live in the cottage permanently i think that sums up our stay at Aberdauddwr thank you once again Malcolm and wife.

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The house is secluded with lovely views but not far from Lampeter for groceries. We had regular visits from some of the local Red Kites. There are some lovely beaches in the area. A lovely holiday.

The accommodation was fantastic and was perfect for a family holiday with great views. The area is truly spectacular with loads to see and do. The cottage was home from home .

It had everything we needed. Malcolm was an excellent host and provided us with a lot of useful information. The views from the cottage and the hot tub were amazing. A week was too short to visit all the beaches in the area. Our boat trip to New Quay to see the dolphins in their natural environment was worth every penny as we saw a number of dolphins swimming around our boat . Lampeter is a nice area to stay . It has a number of shops and restaurants nearby and is close to all areas we wanted to visit . We would highly recommended this cottage to all our family and friends. We can’t wait to return

Aberdauddwr was the perfect place to get away from it all, to relax in the peace with sounds of birds, baby lambs in the distance yet when our 3 young children chose to be noisy, we weren't worried about bothering any of the neighbours!

We were well taken care of by Malcolm who helped us with general information about the hot tub and other facilities as well as excellent advice on where to go and what to do. He made us feel very much at home and lovely to talk to. Highlights were watching the Red Kites feeding in the field, watching the stars whilst relaxing in the hot tub, some beautiful sunsets, gorgeous views over the valley, dolphin watching in New Quay (we'd do the 2hr trip next time as there is a better guarantee to see dolphins), the beach at Llangrannog, the pretty houses at Alberaeron and more. It's a beautiful part of the country and Aberdauddwr is the perfect base to either go out to explore or to stay in and relax. We highly recommend it and thank you for a wonderful week.

Beautiful location in all seasons, the owners have thought of everything!

If you like taking a step back and enjoying nature, wildlife, peace and tranquillity this cottage is for you.

This cottage is very homely and well appointed.

The decor is attractive and the bedrooms/bathrooms are of a high standard. The kitchen has excellent facilities, the table does seat 8 but the bench is more suitable for seating children than adults. The hot tub is a great facility and easy to use. The house is warm and cosy and there was a lovely welcome from the owners. The cottage is a few minutes from Lampeter’s centre which is quaint and has pubs, cafes and a decent Sainsbury’s.

Everything you could possibly need to escape everyday life. The owners are fantastic and on hand if you ever need anything. We will 100% be rebooking.

The cottage was very clean and recently renovated.

Linens were of excellent quality, the kitchen was spacious, mattresses were in great shape, appliances were also like new and our landlord and his wife were gracious. Excellent rental experience.

A fantastic retreat, perfect for de-stressing and takin in the countryside from the vantage point of the hot tub.

Excellent modernised traditional cottage / farm house with everything we could have wished for with an eye for detail clearly evident in the design and management. Very cosy beds all round too. We will definitely be coming here again. Superb!!!

From the second we arrived, we felt at home.

The owner was genuinely warm and friendly, recommending places to visit based on what we had said we were interested in. He even brought some additional information to us based on our interests. The cottage was excellently appointed and very well supplied. The owners had paid attention to the small details of their guests comfort. The little touches like having milk, tea and coffee and toilet roll make all the difference after a long drive. The owners even left us some home made Welsh cakes. The cottage was both comfortable and cozy, every room was spotless, and the hot tub was a welcome place to relax after a day exploring. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to this area to book this cottage as both an ideal base and a place to relax and enjoy the stunning views.

Fantastic accommodation, friendly owners and a wonderful retreat from a busy world.

The location is beautiful and very close to the coast - 20 mins to Aberaeron and 40 mins to Tresaith & Llangrannog Very comfortable cottage, very well looked after and has everything you need but if there is something you that is not to hand you only need to ask and the owners are there to help.

Lovely warm welcome on our arrival and advice on the property and local surroundings which was a great help. Hot tub was a nice touch at the end of the day.

Owner Malcolm very welcoming and attentive. Photos do not do full justice. Easy journeys to great beaches. Wonderful, private location. Plenty of outdoor space including use of opposite field for games. Great BBQ not listed. Comfortable outdoor seating. Hot tub bonus, great for spotting shooting stars on clear nights.Would definitely book again.
