    “Steph and Chris run a fabulous place, the cottage was beautifully clean and homely, fully stocked kitchen even welsh cakes!”

The property

Garden View is an attractive, semi-detached cottage, apposite the owner's home, is surrounded by tranquil countryside, on the outskirts of Llanybydder in West Wales.

Garden View is a wonderful, contemporary property for a couple or small family looking for a Welsh rural retreat to Carmarthenshire.

Step into the property to be greeted by a well thought out, open-plan living room, which makes the most of the space, with lovely dark wood flooring and a neutral colour scheme with splashes of grey and mustard.

The sitting room offers a corner sofa that the whole group can relax on while enjoying the view of the garden from the patio door or being entertained by something on the TV, while the dining table can comfortably seat the whole group and you can enjoy delicious meals together, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.

The property has two contemporary bathrooms to choose from; a ground-floor shower room and a first-floor family bathroom with bath and handheld shower, so there shouldn't be any queues in the mornings, while upstairs you will also find the two bedrooms, which include a master king-size with stunning original beams, a TV and Juliet balcony, overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside, as well as a spacious twin, which would be ideal for younger guests.

Outside, you will find off-road parking for one car, as well as an enclosed patio garden with picnic bench and barbecue, so you can take full advantage of the good weather and dine alfresco, as well as a separate private hot tub area, sure to add a luxurious touch to your stay and the perfect way to round off the day.

Llanybydder Cottages

Llanybydder Cottages is a pairing of two beautifully presented cottages resting in the rural outskirts of Llanybydder, Carmarthenshire. With off-road parking and tasteful interiors, this pair of cottages is ideal for two couples, or groups of six and their four-legged companions. If it's the Mountains you're after then head North to the dramatic Cambrian Mountains, rich with wildlife and some of the most magnificent views imaginable. The property also benefits from being a scenic car journey away from the west coast of Wales and its picturesque beaches for those quieter afternoons, as well as the historic coastal town of Aberystwyth. There are all manner of tourist attractions available from the Devil's Bridge Falls where you can watch cascading waterfalls pass the nested bridges, while the National Trust's Dolaucothi Gold Mines is a unique and fascinating day out that is not to be missed. Lampeter 5 miles; Aberaeron 16 miles; Carmarthen 20 miles.

A small market town straddling the River Teifi, Llanybydder is a typical old Welsh town with a small selection of shops, including a Post Office, bakers and farmers co-operative, and a few pubs and eating places scattered throughout its streets. It is the focal point for the surrounding farmers, and regularly holds horse sales. The countryside is perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers alike. Set on the border between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, Llanybydder is perfectly positioned to travel to the county town of Carmarthen with its busy shopping centre, with small individual quirky shops and the well-known high street stores, Merlin's Hill Centre and even a steam railway. The superb coastline of both south and west Wales is within 20 miles for great seaside days and coastal walks on the world renowned Welsh coastal path. An excellent central location to enjoy the south west of Wales.
