“When selecting a property to book for a holiday one of the first things we look for is unrestricted parking for our car outside the property.”

The description on the website for 15 Sovereign House states that there is permit parking for one car. However, following payment for our holiday the information stated that if you are unable to park outside there is a large Tesco car park close by. This was a concern as we expected to be able to park outside with a permit provided. I questioned the description and the eventual replies only stated what was in the post payment information and, finally, the owner stated that there was no allocated parking with no mention of a permit. Additionally, Tesco car parks usually allow parking for up to 3 hours during the daytime and 15 minutes overnight.
When we arrived at the property we found that there was restricted permit parking along the whole of the marina apartment complex which was of a concern. However, on entering the apartment we found that there was a permit to allow parking outside which we were grateful for and used. We also found that it was a 10 minute walk to the Tesco car park which, as pensioners, would have been a struggle with luggage.
Overall, the property was clean and comfortable but I would recommend that the description is updated to mention that there is permit parking outside the property and that a permit will be available in the apartment for use in one car.
