We enjoyed our stay in this property for the 4th time.

It was good to see a new tv with updated access to the streaming services because the tv station availability is not good at this property although the tv is still too small for my liking.The settee is feeling is need of changing as its been used a lot over the years.The weather was too hot for us to bear so we had unfortunately to curtail our holiday. We will be back though!

A very comfortable and clean home.

One of the best presented holiday homes we have stayed in. Situated in a quiet close within very easy walking distance to the town centre. Unfortunately the town itself is struggling to recover from severe flooding in December 25. However if you going to the area I would highly recommend this property.

It was very warm and cosy. The owner had made a special effort to decorate, which was a lovely touch. The house has everything you need and is a great place to spend your holiday. Owner went the extra mile and were happy to accomodate and responded quickly to our messages.

We had a lovely week staying in Kymin View.

The house had everything we needed and the location was perfect for exploring the Wye valley. This was our first visit to the area. We will certainly be coming back.

The location is excellent and is within walking distance of Monmouth, with its lovely high street. Lovely garden and good car parking.

We were very comfortable in Kymin view , maybe a slightly larger TV would be a bonus.

But apart from that it was good.

This property is in a lovely position to Monmouth, great base to travel to Ross-on-Wye and Abergavenny.

The property as a whole is very clean and comfortable and is well situated for all the area has to offer.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and i would recommended it to anyone.There is however an issue with the tv in the lounge, ie it is too small and needs upgrading to a newer smart tv with access to more of the apps now available.

Stayed here many times and its lovely, in a perfect position, 5 minute walk to town.

We always take a trip to Ross on wye 10 miles from Monmouth and have a meal in the Royal Hotel which has parking. Will return to Kymin View in the near future.

Perfect location for my holiday, close to Monmouth Town and only a short drive to the Forest of Dean, Coleford and Ross-on-Wye to name just a few, the cottage is in a lovely quiet area with local shops nearby, everything you need is in the property, great kitchen, central heating for those cold days, comfortable bed with large built in wardrobes, bathroom with shower over bath, with a wc downstairs for convenience, overall a lovely, fairly new property.

A true home from home

All was good with this property, very handy to walk into the town and lovely river walk , and not far to surrounding areas.

Kymin View is a lovely comfortable holiday home.

It is a short walk into Monmouth and a good base for exploring the surrounding area. We enjoyed a walk up to the Kymin and completed the Sculpture Trail in the Forest of Dean. There are lots of lovely places to visit nearby and we enjoyed exploring Monmouth. We also had a lovely meal at the Estero Lounge, visited the Savoy Theatre and are missing our daily visits to the Coffi Lab for the lovely coffee and cakes. Thanks for a lovely stay at the cosy Kymin View cottage.

A lovely property in a quiet yet convenient part of Monmouth, it was easy to walk into town and to the riverbank,or in my case drive my mobility scooter.

The house had a spacious living room and although the kitchen isn't very big it was perfectly adequate for holiday meals. There is a downstairs toilet as well as a lovely bathroom and 2 spacious bedrooms. The weather was hot and the wind out awning over the patio kept the living room cooler. The owner had also kindly included a fan on the landing. The area is full of history and we visited Raglan Castle and Tintern Abbey. Checkout The Gateway cinema at Ross , we were lucky enough to find a showing of Les Miserables, with a talk from a chap who had played various roles in the West End. It was the highlight of our holiday.

This was our second stay at this property and it was excellent again.

The property is well equiped and confortable and is close to all amenities and just a short walk to the town shops etc. There are a couple of suggestions i would like to make to further enhance the holday experience. 1/ provide a clock in the living room. 2/ change the tv in the living room for a larger screen.

Lovely property very close to the town, with only a short flat 5min walk.

House was well equipped, comfy and very warm. Lots of DVD’s for entertainment if needed. Fridge freezer was a decent size and kitchen had everything needed for our stay. Toilets on both floors was very handy for our family of four! Parking on the drive was brilliant and can easily accommodate two cars, with quite a lot of parking also available on street if needed. Nice views of the Kymin from back of house. Nice private garden with table and chairs when the sun came out and loved watching the birds throughout the day… especially the robins whom loved the garden as well.

Brilliant warm clean modern house with parking on an exceptionally quiet housing development.

5 mins to the lovely town on foot with great shops pubs and scenery all round . From the house you can see the Kymin on top of its hill a lovely walk from Staunton via Kymin for those who are fit. Great comfy beds and wifi mostly good . Easy to explore the Forest of Dean with an irregular but very handy stagecoach bus that gets you into the FOD for £2 7 days a week or to lovely Hereford 6 days a week again £2 each way or to Ross and Symonds Yat for a little bit more great to watch the scenery go by. Brilliant stay so convenient.

Really comfortable house in a quiet cul de sac within close proximity to Monmouth centre.

Nice surprise that the house had a xmas tree and decorations on our arrival....we had a very special Christmas visiting the local church for xmas midnight mass too.

Excellent property ideally located for Monmouth and surrounding areas

I stayed there for 1 week in october and the cottage was outstanding as was the service from Liz and Stan both lovely people.

A very well equipped and comfortable cottage which was ideally placed for Monmouth, the Forest of Dean and South Wales.

The welcome pack of two pints of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits was much appreciated. Hope to stay there again in the future.

Perfect house for our visit to Monmouth and Wye Valley -quiet modern house- very clean and comfortable-easy walk into town centre and all amenities-safe parking.

Even the weather was great!- rain at night and fine all day! Thanks to the owner for 3 lovely days for the 3 of us!

Great stay in lovely town Monmouth and in this cottage located within easy walking distance of shops, facilities walking paths and the River Wye.

This is our third time to the cottage and it never disappoints. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kymin View at the start of August.

The local area was beautiful and well worth exploring, but even if you did want to travel further afield, you are really well positioned close to the main routes. The house was a lot more spacious than we imagined it would be and very well maintained. The kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a holiday rental with just about everything you could need. The only downside being that there wasn't an empty cupboard/shelf for our food for the week, but still plenty of space. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. The black-out blinds were a very welcome feature, especially as we were travelling with young, early riser! There was plenty of clothes storage in both room, but particularly in the master bedroom. The bathroom was also nice and clean, and the shower was very good (and I'm not often able to say that about rentals). The house was absolutely full of positives. The host had helpfully left lots of information about the local area, and the fresh milk in the fridge was a really thoughtful touch. Especially if you've travelled a long way to get there. If we had to pick out a negative it would be the lack of washing machine. As a family with young children, it's definitely helpful to have a washing machine to hand, but it didn't impact our stay or our wonderful week away, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Kymin View again. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

We also watched a couple of DVDs. The property is in an ideal location being only a few minutes walk from the town centre of Monmouth. Plenty of restaurants to eat at in the evening. Monmouth is a lovely town and the countryside around beautiful.

Kymin View was really lovely.

The location was brilliant for visiting places and the short walk in to Monmouth is a real bonus. The lovely secluded garden is wonderful for sitting out, with excellent outdoor furniture. The house was spotless and was a real home from home, with everything you could want. We would definitely recommend it.

Nice area and house very clean and well equipped.

Easy walking distance to the centre of town with good shopping, restaurants and surrounding area very beautiful. The house it self has been very thoughtfully furnished and a delight for self catering. Unfortunately as it is attached to another house it was not the quiet retreat sitting in the garden but our fault for not planning to stay in a more remote area. We would recommend this holiday home though as it does offer so much and we did enjoy our stay. Very lucky to have very good weather all week and Monmouth is such a friendly town.

Kymin View was a lovely base to stay being only a very short walk into Monmouth.

The house was modern, comfortable, clean and had a well equipped kitchen. There was a good sized fridge/freezer too. The house was in a very quiet location on a small housing estate so slept well. We would return here if visiting this area again.

This property is ideally situated near to Monmouth town and all the amenities.

The property is cosy and mostly comfortable except for the beds which were too hard for our liking.It has all the equipment anyone would want , except for it would have nice to have a clock in the living room.I could not find instructions for most of the equipment though. Overall ,this is a very good holiday home and we would recommend it to anyone.

Kymin View is an excellent property.

Monmouth is a great base for walking in the Wye valley and the forest of Dean and it has some splendid restaurants is particular a Thai and a Mexican. We had a really good time there.

This property was absolutely spotless and so well equipped we wanted for nothing.

Very comfortable house for us - couple with 2 teenage girls.

Well equipped kitchen, although we would have preferred a washing machine to a dish washer. We loved the easy-to-access Netflix built in to the TV. Great location, very quiet and just 5 minutes walk from Monow Bridge and all the shops and restaurants. Easy access on foot to the path along the River Wye and by car to wider Monmouthshire.

We were looking for a comfortable house with easy access to the restaurants and shops of Monmouth for our stay in March.

Kymin View ticked all the boxes, it is a very comfortable modern cottage in a quiet cul-de-sac with off road parking. A five minute level walk takes you to the Monnow bridge and you are in Monmouth town. It worked perfectly for us as a base to tour the area and have all the amenities of Monmouth on our doorstep come back to.

Monmouth is a really lovely town and this house is located in an excellent location to enjoy Monmouth the surrounding towns and villages the Wye Valley and the Black Mountains.

It really is the perfect spot for enjoying all the area has to offer. The pictures of the house don't really do It justice it really is a very warm comfortable house with everything required to make your stay comfortable. We had a fantastic week and would certainly stay again.

Lots of space, very clean and tidy. The garden looks great - although being February we sadly didn't use it. We liked it so much that we have already reserved it for Christmas 2017

This new house was spotless and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

It is an easy, level walk into the town centre for shopping, laundry services, restaurants and historic places of interest. The house is situated in a very quiet residential area and the owner can be on hand to answer any queries. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

The cottage was a brand new house and all the equipment, bedding, linen etc was new.

It was like a home from home. Excellent location for access to the many pubs, shops and restaurants in Monmouth. Also for walking there was easy access to the Wye Valley long distance footpath and Offa's Duke. Ideal for trips further afield such as the races at Chepstow and historic Bristol not to mention all the historic towns, villages and castles around.
