The local area was beautiful and well worth exploring, but even if you did want to travel further afield, you are really well positioned close to the main routes.
The house was a lot more spacious than we imagined it would be and very well maintained. The kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a holiday rental with just about everything you could need. The only downside being that there wasn't an empty cupboard/shelf for our food for the week, but still plenty of space.
The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. The black-out blinds were a very welcome feature, especially as we were travelling with young, early riser! There was plenty of clothes storage in both room, but particularly in the master bedroom. The bathroom was also nice and clean, and the shower was very good (and I'm not often able to say that about rentals).
The house was absolutely full of positives. The host had helpfully left lots of information about the local area, and the fresh milk in the fridge was a really thoughtful touch. Especially if you've travelled a long way to get there.
If we had to pick out a negative it would be the lack of washing machine. As a family with young children, it's definitely helpful to have a washing machine to hand, but it didn't impact our stay or our wonderful week away, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Kymin View again. Thank you
