Well equipped, comfortable and attractively furnished. Pictures on the website give a very true impression. Friendly owners and set in an idyllic location right next to the Quay and the pub. Highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful week at Laburnham Cottage.

The location in Cresswell Quay was stunning - I loved watching the birds, and the pub across the quay was great for a pint in the sunshine and/or a tasty BBQ. The cottage was also perfectly located for countryside walks and was really peaceful at night. It was just a short drive to the beach and there is plenty to do in the area. The cottage itself was gorgeous, really clean and comfortable, with a lovely old school countryside cottage feel. The hosts were super helpful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. It is a perfect place to unwind and relax.

We had a wonderful week at Laburnham Cottage.

The setting and position are magnificent. Overlooking Cresswell Quay, it's probably the most picturesque outlook we've ever had - and we've had some crackers all over the country over the years! The living room was cosy and homely, the TV a bit fiddly but OK, the kitchen spot on, boasting everything that we needed. Although a bigger toaster would have made it even better. Our bedroom was spacious, the bed pretty comfortable, lots of storage and it was a breath of fresh air to gaze out over the water, across to the pub - and the monkey puzzle tree! The en suite was fine with the bath not the biggest but the shower easy to use with plenty of hot water after we'd kickstarted the day running up and down the glorious hills. The quayside was a magical place, constantly shapeshifting as the water ebbed and flowed. So peaceful, tranquil and reinvigorating. The house martins swooping in and out of their nests by our bedroom windows to feed their young were a joy to behold while cottage owner Phillip was ever friendly, affable, chatty and helpful. The cottage is also a fantastic base for touring one of the most stunning if under-rated chunks of the entire UK. Saundersfoot, Tenby, Narberth, Cardigan, St David's and Fishguard are all within easy reach - a fab mix of brilliant beaches, seaside resorts, history, market towns and bohemian culture. We were lucky, blessed by bright sunshine and blue skies every day of our idyllic stay. But even if the weather hadn't been so gorgeous we'd still be booking a date in the calendar to go back to this truly unique cottage.

Only a short walk to the local! Really comfortable bed and quiet location for a good night's sleep. Lovely welcome from Rhian, spoke to Phil and Dizzy the dog most days. On the most part the cottage is great, a little tired in some places but didn't detract from our stay. Would definitely return.

Very comfortable cottage, quiet and very pretty location by the river.

The host made us very welcomed and we had an amazing week. Just a small little garden by the river well organised with table and lounge chairs, perfect for summer dinning. There is a good pub across the road, no food just drinks only. Sadly they do not accept dogs or children. Well position, only 19 minutes from the gorgeous beaches of Tenby and the whole cost. Highly recommended cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay. Our dog was very welcomed too.

Lovely stay at Laburnham Cottage.

It is comfortable, homely and extremely well equipped with good quality crockery, cooking instruments and utensils. Plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. The owners who are very hospitable, provide eco products for washing and cleaning which smell divine! When we arrived, there was milk, Welsh cakes and tea bags provided. The owners also supplied us with a basket of doggy goodies and blankets - such a lovely touch. There was a minor issue with the toaster, but the owner fixed this immediately. The cottage is situated directly behind the estuary and Quay. It was great watching the small boats come and go and the paddle boarding at high tide. Some pleasant walks directly from the cottage and lots to do just a short drive away - Lawrenny Quay tearooms is worth a visit and Carew Mill is also really nice - very tranquil. Narberth is a great shopping experience. Don’t miss out on the Lily Ponds at Bosherston - the walk leads directly to Broadhaven beach south which is dog friendly all year round. This was a great holiday let which we thoroughly recommend.

I had a lovely stay at Laburnham Cottage.

It's well equipped, cosy and perfectly located for discovering the Pembrokeshire area. Comfortable beds and sofas; good water pressure and shower; strong wifi signal. My dog was made very welcome with her own welcome basket! Faultless stay and will definitely stay again.

Lovely warm cottage, really well equipped and great location for exploring the area.

Dog friendly environment with doggies blankets, bowls and treats provided- very thoughtful. The hosts very kindly welcomed us with milk, eggs, homemade Welsh cakes and a bottle of wine, which we so appreciated. We will be returning for another winter break. Many thanks.

Beautifully equipped cottage, all that you could wish for in a fairly out of the way location - not to mention this year's Welsh pub of the year a stone's throw away!

Everything was lovely except for the sofa in the living could do with replacing.

Bed very comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Beautiful setting by Quay and local pub. The pub didn't do its own food, it's pop up food.

This cottage is in a lovely quiet hamlet, very relaxing.

We unfortunately had a very wet week but it didn't stop us exploring the area. The cottage is cosy and lovely and warm, especially when the wood burner is lit. It has a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The owners are very helpful and friendly and the welcome gifts much appreciated.

It was a beautiful spot and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area and watching the tides on the ria. The owners were charming and helpful. Lunch at the nearby beach cafe at Lawrenny was very good. We also enjoyed the local dog-friendly castle and mill at Carew.

Laburnum Cottage was the perfect bolthole for us.

We have stayed in a variety of cottages in Pembrokeshire and this by far our favourite. It is charming throughout and the position is a real escape but with benefit of a great pub for a pint. Our hosts couldn't do enough and were wwelcoming and knowledgeable about local destinations. Everything you would want to do or see is 20 minutes away. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

An absolutely fantastic property.

This is probably best equipped property we have been to. The host were absolutely fantastic - just there when we needed them. There was a good welcome package- Welsh cake - prosseco - milk- tea and coffee . The accommodation was small but contained absolutely everything we needed. It was definitely dog friendly. Downstairs was a lounge kitchen area area - just what we needed and upstairs was the mostomfortable double bedroom, bathroom with shower and room with boule bunks, I cannot praise this property highly enough. Just want to return. The location is great. Just over the road is the Cresselly Arms - the best local I have ever been too. Just beware of the occasional spring tides! There are so many places to visit and so many local walks. As in all, I just love this place and can’t wait to return.

This is a really lovely cottage overlooking Creswell Quay, very comfy and cosy, has everthing you would need, the Refreshment welcome pack was much needed after a long drive, the basket of logs for the fire was very welcome as well.

The owners are lovely people and although they live next door you hardly see them, but great to know they were there if a problem arose. If we went back to this area we would certainly stay at Laburnham cottage again. Great Location for that area of Wales. Tenby is only 20 minutes away, St. Davids is about an hour away.

Excellent Cottage in a peaceful location.

Nice pub nearby but lack of other local facilities needs to be factored into your stay. Very well equipped and of a high standard all round. Good support from the owners, without being intrusive.

Lovely welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, Welsh cakes & prosecco. Warm welcome from our hosts in the adjoining house, with fabulous recommendations. Traditional Pub just over the road, & within 30 mins drive of Tenby & Saundersfoot. Highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic cottage, so comfortable, cosy and convenient for walks, relaxing and enjoying a pint at sunset by the Quay while the tide creeps up the creek.

The cottage was an extremely pleasant and comfortable base to return to from long walks along the coast.

Quiet and peaceful and with lovely views. Less than 30 minutes' drive to empty beaches. The hosts were very helpful, accommodating us at very short notice, and providing us with fresh salad from their enviable vegetable garden. I would recommend this to anyone keen to explore this part of Pembrokeshire.

This is a charming little cottage attached to the owners house.

It was wonderfully snug and warm when we arrived and the owner was on hand to welcome us. We appreciated the Tea/Coffee/Welshcakes and Proscetto, thank you! The cottage was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely view of the creek from the downstairs and bedroom windows. A perfect relaxing spot to enjoy some peace and quiet with beautiful beaches within easy reach. Happy to recommend.

We had an amazing holiday in this idyllic setting where time stood still.

The children had an amazing time crabbing from the quayside next to the cottage and exploring the woods over the stepping stones. The owners live next door and were extremely welcoming, giving us advice about interesting places to visit. Even the rain didn’t spoil things as we cosied up with the wood burner lit. We cannot wait to go back!

Peaceful, well-equipped and comfortable, Laburnum Cottage has gorgeous views, with spectacular coastal walks and castles within easy reach.

Phil and Rhian are friendly and welcoming, and gave us lots of useful local information. We really enjoyed our week there, and would certainly go back.

We received a warm welcome to this very comfortable, well equipped character cottage in its beautiful location on the river at Cresswell Quay.

Tucked away in a quiet backwater (literally), it is a great base for exploring Pembrokeshire or just sitting in the garden (or the pub across the water) and watching the world go by.

Fantastic cottage felt instantly relaxed, the owners had thought of everything you need for a lovely break.

Great little spot on the estuary loved watching the many birds. Will definitely go back as the Pembrokeshire area and beaches are stunning.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and everything is to hotel standard. It was so nice to sleep so well in a such a good quality bed and bedding. So often other holiday rents have been let down due to cheap beds and their after effects. We look forward to going back and have recommended the cottage to friends.

Laburnham Cottage is a dream place to stay.

The cottage is cosy, comfortable and really clean with a beautiful and ever-changing view of the creek. The local community is friendly and always willing to help and sitting outside the nearby Cresselly Arms on a warm sunny day, with a glass of wine or beer, is nothing short of perfection. My partner and I will definitely be going to Laburnham Cottage again.
