    “On first impressions good but not as week goes on first found wood lice and indoor centipedes then cleaning issues partner moves cushions on settee and found Maltesers moved seat cushion out off armchair all underneath full of dust and debris.”

    Followed instructions in book of what to do when leaving them had a phone call from agent to ask where bags with dirt towels and linen was not very happy about to be honest gave the impression we had taken it with us

The property

This extremely comfortable semi-detached holiday cottage for two is in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park above Newport Bay and located on the lower slopes of Carningli Mountain where there are numerous stunning scenic walks in this particularly beautiful part of the National Park.

It is a pleasant downhill 15 minute walk to the seaside town of Newport where you will find a range of individual shops, eateries and pubs as well as the Parrog beach.

The coastal path can be accessed within a 25 minute walk or you can flag down the walkers' bus at the bottom of the road and enjoy a different stretch of the path every day, this really is an ideal base for walkers all year round.Enjoy the lush timelessness of the Gwaun Valley and Carningli mountain with ancient iron and bronze age settlements, changing colours of gorse, heather and bracken, bluebell woods and wild Welsh Mountain ponies, sheep, foxes and abundant bird life.
