“The house has a large extension which is brilliant especially when the sun is shining.”

The garden is well laid out and has all the equipment you require to enjoy the sunshine. The house was clean and has all the kitchen has all the utensils etc required for just a snack or making a main meal. The bedrooms were comfortable and airy. Overall the house was a delight to stay in and we felt comfortable living there, especially as it was very quiet. Just a note, nothing to do with the house, but the local pub and chippy close at 8:30 at night. Overall we had a great holiday.

The property

This spacious stone house enjoys a great location in the pretty village of Dinas Cross, between Newport and Fishguard in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Within walking distance is Aberbach cove, Pwllgwaelod and Cwm yr Eglwys, with Newport Sands just a short drive away.

Newport is just over three miles away and has a great selection of eateries, pubs, shops and a weekly produce market.

The coastal walkers' bus enables you to walk a different section of the coast path each day and stops in the village, as does the regular service bus.

Within walking distance are two village shops, as well as 2 pubs which serve food, a beach side restaurant, a fish & chip shop, a children's play park and tennis court.

This home is a happy marriage of traditional cottage with large modern extension and makes a perfect place for extended families or groups of friends.

About the location

DINAS CROSS

Newport 2.5 miles.

Pwll Gwaelod and Cwm-Yr-Eglwys beaches are both paces away, both with breath-taking scenery offering the opportunity for tranquil days in perfect settings, and are almost unnoticed by the general public unless they leave the main route through the village, with there being a petrol station, two pubs a fish and chip shop, as well as a restaurant down at Pwll Gwaelod beach. Nearby Newport is a quirky seaside town steeped in history, with various shops, tea rooms and pubs and is also a great place to go boating. With castles, mills, craft centres and golf courses galore scattered all over this beautiful Welsh county, this is the perfect base for a break all year round.
