We have just spent 5 nights there in mid-May 2024, and loved both the house and the very welcoming village of Newport.
Driveway took 2 cars, our 3rd car was parked on the road just in front. The kitchen is very well stocked: glasses, crockery & cutlery aplenty. Large welcoming kitchen table will easily accommodate 9 folks and more. Superb fridge & freezer.
My only tiny point for the owners: the drainage in the back Double En Suite bathroom is slow, both from the hand basin, and from the shower/bath. At first I thought there might be a blockage. This did not seem to be the case - when I removed both plugs the water shot down the drain with gusto. The shower/bath plug has a mesh basket attached which really slows down drainage. Once the plug is lifted out, the bath drains very rapidly. The slow drainage from the hand basin is more of a mystery, perhaps a dose of Drain Unblocker Gloop might assist?
In summary, we all loved our stay in Lyndale, and I would say that it's the best equipped house I have ever rented. The Ground Floor Shower area is a stroke of genius, and we found the house & contents absolutely spotless. Huge thank you to the owners.
