“We had a wonderful stay here even though the weather wasn’t great all week, the cottage is well equipped, cosy and clean!”

No complaints as such but a couple of suggestions.. The bathroom downstairs would really benefit from having an extractor fan fitted as you can see there is damp on the ceiling, the upstairs bedroom doors could do with plaining as they drag on the carpet as this would quickly wear the carpet, the shed in the back garden is ideal to have but we were unable to store our bike rack and roof bag as it’s full of stuff that has become mouldy/broken, there is quite a lot of rubbish or looks like left ...

No complaints as such but a couple of suggestions.. The bathroom downstairs would really benefit from having an extractor fan fitted as you can see there is damp on the ceiling, the upstairs bedroom doors could do with plaining as they drag on the carpet as this would quickly wear the carpet, the shed in the back garden is ideal to have but we were unable to store our bike rack and roof bag as it’s full of stuff that has become mouldy/broken, there is quite a lot of rubbish or looks like left over renovation stuff in the garden, also the back gate to the garden there is a top bolt on the inside but there is no other way to shut the gate and I’m not tall enough to put the top lock on from the outside when leaving the back garden, it’s super handy having a drive to park the car as the road is narrow but in the wet/winter this becomes really really muddy and slippy so maybe the drive could having some chippings laid? Definitely no complaints and the facilités in the area are enough, spar, butchers, pubs and cafe also perfect for the dog walks. I would recommend this property and we hope to return!

This very comfortable pink washed holiday cottage dates from before 1850 and is situated in the lovely coastal market town of Newport.

Within a few minutes' walk of the cottage are the estuary, beaches and mountain.

In the town there are eateries to suit every taste and pocket, individual shops, galleries and pubs.

There is also a weekly (Monday) local producer's market.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is just a couple of minutes' walk away and offers 186 miles of spectacular walking and scenery.

This traditional cottage offers period charm and features with contemporary style and the modern comfort and conveniences we all enjoy; it really is a lovely place from which to explore Newport, the National Park, Pembrokeshire coast and Preseli mountains.

You can park your car and not use it again all week while you enjoy a relaxing break.
