“The Farmhouse was the prefect place for my family to spend the weekend together.”
The firepit and the play area was a massive hit.
The accommodation is very rustic with creaking doors and squeaky beds, with horses outside your front door!
The kitchen had everything you needed to make a good evening meal, we had an abundance of hot water, and the heating was available when required. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean.

We contacted the owner once for some equipment for an outside game, which he arranged for us without issue, and was often seen around the farm doing his farming work, without being intrusive and happy to stop for a chat if you wanted too.
The wifi is pretty poor, it was hit or miss depending on your service provider and your own mobile data. Some areas of the house was better than other parts, however it was nice not to glued to our phones all day long.
We had a great weekend, and would return again if we are ever in the area again.
Thanks for the comments - the farmhouse seems to fit the bill for families as you say rustic and traditional, we believe it was built around 1820 so old enough for a few creaks with lots of space - great for hide and seek so we keep getting told. We have to agree with you broadband is poor - regrettably the whole area is the same - we have been promised upgrades to the infrastructure - we live in hope.
