Just outside of the town centre, there is much history to be seen, with the Castell Henllys Iron Age Village just a short drive away, where you can expect Iron Age Roundhouses set in 30 acres of scenic parkland, as well as the nearby stunning Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber - one of Wales' iconic structures.
Next stop is Fishguard where you can tuck-in to fresh fish and chips as you take in the views along Goodwick Sea Wall, hike up to the historic Fishguard Fort with superb views overlooking Fishguard Bay or visit the Sea Trust site of Ocean Lab, where you can see the local marine life and well as learn about marine conservation.
Head to the historic town of Cardigan, where you can wander through the traditional Guildhall Market, pay a visit to the 12th-century Cardigan Castle which is steeped in rich history and offers super views of the Afon Teifi.
