“A fabulous property in a fabulous location!”

We couldn't have asked for more with this house, it was clean and comfortable and had all amenities you would want in your own home. The layout was perfect, as a party of two couples, it just flowed and was great for spending time together. The t.v. has been moved into the lounge area and this was a huge plus for us, though we only watched in the later evenings, we could all sit down together. After a long day exploring the area, this was welcome. Can't wait to visit again in the future, ...

After a long day exploring the area, this was welcome. Can't wait to visit again in the future, Newport is a true little gem of a place and we loved it. The house was so close to the main eateries etc, just a few hundred meters to walk, yet it was quite and peaceful at night, loved everything about it! Thank you to the wonderful host for sharing such a lovely home. Highly recommend the "Canteen" for pizza of an evening, the best we've tasted and great service too! But all local pubs were great too, very friendly.

“We had a lovely week at Ty Cerrig.”

The house was very well appointed. All the furniture, bedding, kitchenware etc were of a very high quality. We really appreciated the small touches of soap supplied in every bathroom. Linda had thought of everything to ensure a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.

“We had such a lovely stay at Ty Cerrig, just myself, my mum, and my dog Bertie.”

The house is beautifully finished to a very high standard, right down to the smallest details in the fixtures and fittings. The bedding was crisp, white, and hotel quality, which made all the difference for a great night’s sleep. Newport itself is an absolute gem, easily the most charming village we visited during our trip. We took a day trip to Tenby, but honestly, if you prefer quaint, peaceful villages with character, there’s really no need to go further afield. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, Linda, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you enjoy staying in beautiful, well-kept homes, you’ll absolutely love Ty Cerrig.

“A beautiful property in a central yet quiet location, ideal for the beach and town.”

Parking is a bonus as it can be tricky in Newport. Nearly everywhere in town is dog friendly. Modern quality electrical appliances and 2 large bathrooms (plus downstairs shower room), large windows everywhere with views of a super garden at the back and trees at the front. There was plenty of room for 4 of us and our greyhound, the TV room/snug only seats 2 but there is a larger sitting room. (We couldn’t get a reception on the bedroom TVs). Quality white bed linen and really comfy beds. Owner was very helpful, as were the neighbours. Highly recommended.

It was perfect for our break and we felt very relaxed as it was well set up for our dog with the beautiful enclosed garden and the utility with a stair gate and great walks on the doorstep. Everything we wanted was within walking distance and we loved the stay. Would definitely come again.

The t.v. Kept buffering but was fine upstairs. It was a BT Wi-Fi and BT advertise that their Wi-Fi will be good in every room. BT need contacting. Everything else was perfect.

“We really enjoyed our stay at Ty Cerrig.”

A stylish and modern property which was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were some of the best we have ever had in a holiday property. The enclosed garden was brilliant for our inquisitive dog and great for enjoying the afternoon sun. Very peaceful location yet just a short walk to the centre of the village and to the lovely coastal estuary, giving access to lots of local walks without having to drive out. Would definitely visit again.

This contemporary house is hidden away in the heart of Newport which nestles at the foot of Carningli, the Mount of Angels, from where you can enjoy stunning views over Newport Bay and beyond.Parrog beach and Nevern Estuary are both a short walk from the house and the joining point for the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park which includes 186 miles of spectacular coastal path to walk.A walk to Newport Sands - Traeth Mawr will take about 30 minutes and there is a golf club too.The seaside town of Newport has a good selection of eateries to suit most tastes as well as individual and traditional shops, galleries, friendly pubs and a weekly (Monday) local producer's market.This really is a lovely home from which to explore the Pembrokeshire and the Preseli Hills.In fact, you could park your car on arrival and not use it again all week!
