Alternatively, the wider Teifi Estuary, with the Welsh Wildlife Centre or take an adventurous boat trip out into Cardigan Bay to meet the resident bottle nosed dolphins.

Heading back to Newport, take a hike in the mythical Preseli Hills, culminating with a view of the Irish Sea from atop Newport itself, on Carningli Mountain.

Then finish your days with a sumptuous treat in any one of Newport's fantastic pubs and great eateries.
