Yacht Haven View

Myself, my wife and our 11 year old granddaughter spent a wonderful week’s holiday in Yacht Haven in July 2026.

The property is very well presented and comfortable, and its 3 loos proved very handy. The location overlooking Neyland marina was ideal, leading directly onto a beautiful nature reserve walk and close to excellent restaurants The Bar and The Galley. We found it easy to get to some of Pembrokeshire’s great beaches - Broad Haven, Little Haven, Tenby, Whitesands and Newport - and also to visit Folly Farm, Castell Henlys, Solva and St David’s. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was beautiful, and very well presented.

It had everything you could need throughout the property. The upside down style was perfect to make the most of the stunning view. Only downside was the back patio. It needed a good sprucing up. Lots of weeds and bindweed right up to the patio doors.

The view of the marina is great, and it's location is ideal for visiting other parts of Pembrokeshire too. We had a query regarding the parking but Jamie the owner got straight back to us to clarify (the driveway you see in the photo is shared with next door, so we parked directly out the front of the house). A fantastic stay in a lovely home.

We had a lovely stay here at Yacht view, everything was here to make our holiday home away from home.

The garden was secure for our dog and she loved looking out onto the balcony. The accommodation was lovely and clean and the view was exceptional. We ventured out to so many places not far away and within easy distance. Just a short walking distance were the 2 eating places and both had great food. We would definitely recommend here and would love to visit again.

This was a great place for a short break with my wife, dogs and two teenage daughters.

Unfortunately, the nearby Yacht facilities were closed for Xmas & NY, but anyone staying outside the festive period will have the convenience of a bar, restaurant and cafe just 5 mins walk. In terms of family (and dog) friendly places to eat, the Jolly Sailor is a short drive with a decent pub grub menu. Domino's Pizza and a Chinese takeaway both deliver. There is also a Co-Op on the high street, under 5 mins by car. It's a peaceful location, particularly being so close to the boats and water. It's also an easy spot for exploring Tenby and Saundersfoot, etc. The lounge area upstairs is particularly nice to relax with the family, and the bedrooms are all a decent size. The only minor suggestion would be to fix a panel across the bottom of the neighbouring fence, as there's a chance some dogs might explore possible escape routes (mine didn't, but they weren't out there much and were always supervised).

Really comfortable soft furnishings to relax on whilst enjoying the lovely views. House was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Located in a nice ,peaceful, quiet spot overlooking the marina. There is a nice restaurant/bar 200 yards from the property which was ideal if you dont want to drive of an evening. Would definitely recommend Yacht Haven, and stay here again if we come back to Pembrokeshire .

Negatives - safety : slabs in the back garden need urgently cleaning, they are covered in green algae which gets very slippy when wet.

Although I took great care I slipped twice jarring my neck. High table and chairs in kitchen is impractical for some guests. Positives - lovely location with great view. Ideal holiday house for a couple or possibly 3 or 4 adults. Kitchen and living room are small it would be very uncomfortable with 6 adults !

Up stairs bedroom mattress ,on stripping the sheet found stains on the mattress.

Back garden over grown and mossy and green on all .not at all like your photos. Other than that not to bad.

We have just returned from our second visit to Yacht Haven View after visiting last September.

We enjoyed it just as much this time, it really feels like a home from home. Lovely and clean, well equipped and right on the doorstep of a lovely walk for the dog. We visited many of the places we went to in September but found several new ones. Thank you to Jamie and Jo for the goodies which were a nice surprise. We hope to return next year.

A wonderful stay at this very tastefully decorated and furnished property .

It is in a great location for walking and visiting the surrounding area . The garden is perfectly secure for a small dog , although the plants have become a little overgrown . It really was a lovely holiday and we enjoyed the little cafe/restaurant within walking distance to the property . We will definately return .

This was our second stay and did not disappoint.

The place was spotless and very comfortable. There are numerous places to visit both in north and south Pembrokeshire but with the weather being so good for us you could happily spend the day watching life at the marina. All in all I would highly recommend a stay here if you want a truly relaxing holiday. Jackie

Lovely house and great location.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean and well presented. Ideally situated for some lovely walks. We will definitely go back in the future.

A very clean & comfortable home in a tranquil situation, with beautiful soft furnishings & everything you need to make for a wonderful & relaxing holiday.

If you truly want to escape from it all, which we did, Yacht Haven is ideal. To the left is a nature trail that goes on for miles. To the right is Manillas Cafe - overlooking the Marina - for breakfast or lunch. We have come home completely refreshed. Just what we wanted.

Great property, ideal setting, everything we needed was there,fantastic area to explore, what more can I say but thank you.

My husband, myself and our labradoodle have just come back from a week at Yacht Haven view.

It was perfect for us, the house was clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The views over the marina were great, the food at the bar was really good (although outside seating for people with dogs). I think what really made it for us with a dog was the beautiful nature reserve on the doorstep and so many amazing places to visit really close by and a big Tesco 4 miles away

Very nice property, clean and well looked after with good amenities.

Close by bar and cafe and useful shops and takeaway's nearby in the town. Pleasant walks and ideal for dog owners.

We enjoyed our week.

Beautiful views and walks along side of estuary. A brilliant place to watch 'boat life'.Central for both north and south Pembrokeshire. House was very comfortable. As other people have said,the back garden needs a bit of a spruce up. Internally, we could not get the downstairs bath to switch to shower position. Impractical colour of worktops in kitchen. It took us two days to discover that the dishwasher had a cutlery rack right across the top - never seen one like that before. With that in mind, as mentioned by others, a folder with all the equipments instructions is badly needed. Also instructions about where to dispose of rubbish before your holiday is ended. The bin became a bit smelly by mid week as we didn't know where to put the bag. Just simple things to sort out to make this a perfect place to spend a lovely, relaxing holiday.

The only thing I’d like to say is whilst I was there I cleaned the tables and chairs around the back ‘ brushed all the patio .

It defiantly needs a patio blast and a general tidy . The house is loverly the beds and linen it 10/10 Comfort fantastic . Great pub . All round fab holiday went to saundersfoot 5 days and castle 1 day Pembroke which the children loved . I left it spotless . Definitely well recommended

The only thing that I really didn’t like was the dining table and chairs too high.

If I go into a restaurant or pub and they only have high chairs and tables I would walk out. We didn’t eat in lot only twice because of the dining table and chairs. Loved the tables outside just a pity the weather was disappointing.

2 lovely weeks staying in this comfortable holiday house.

Very centrally positioned to visit the many places of interest and stunning coastline. Also beautiful views of the marina watching the boats come and go.

House is in a really lovely quiet location and is generally well furnished.

Bedrooms are all lovely, however there should never be a metal squeaky bed in any room intended for adults. Living room had ample seating for the 5 of us and was very comfy. Lots of glasses, cups, plates etc in the kitchen which we really appreciated and good storage spaces. The balcony from the living room is a stunning feature and we enjoyed lots of mornings watching the marina from this balcony. The kitchen and the ensuite let the place down though. The appliances in the kitchen are old, we had problems with the dishwasher like other guests have (maintenance did come out to sort this) and the sink is made of some ridiculous material that is impossible to keep clean. The table has been changed from the pictures to a high table with bar stools which weren't as comfy or easy to use for our youngest child. The ensuite has some very cheap flooring down which looks like stick down tiles and it's lifting near the shower. Alot of the grouting around the shower would benefit from a good scrub too. Overall it's a good place in a good spot, but just could do with a little bit more modernising in some areas to make it as nice as the rest of the house.

Had an amazing family holiday and visited places I’ve not been for 35+years. The only point to raise is the shower tray leaks quite a lot in the en suite at the edge of where the glass screen stops. The property was recommended by Darren (Pencoed house) after we got married there (25/5/23) so we have him to thank. Will be staying there again at some point. Both places stunning. Paul Broaders

A lovely well equipped cottage.

A more detailed folder, as other places we have stayed in have, regarding how things work, local attractions, recycling etc. A great cycle path/walk way is a very short walk away for those with dogs. Highly recommend

Very enjoyable week in a lovely property.

Very comfortable, very clean, very well furnished with beautiful soft furnishings throughout. Amazing views over the marina and so relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer. We very much hope to return in the future.

Just back from a lovely relaxing week, the house was cosy and warm, soft furnishings outstanding the views from the patio windows fabulous, we will be definitely booking again ❤️

Very disappointed to arrive for a January booking to find no heat on in the property.

We then set about setting up the heating which is all electric only to find that on 3 occasions the electric trip out. On this we gave up and ran the house on limited heating thus avoiding the system tripping out for the rest of our stay. Unfortunately no emergency available in the property to help us sort this mess out. Also the microwave also appeared not to be working. There is also a need for a bin to place general rubbish in which is only collected ever 3 weeks to put the rubbish in once the indoor bin is full. On the plus side great location and well equipped property, would return but only in the warmer months when not so reliant on the heating system.

Excellent, very clean and very comfortable , home from home.

Bath very slow to fill downstairs with cold water not coming through very quickly. However did not affect holiday as shower was great upstairs. Beautiful property with lovely furniture and fittings.
