What guests are saying
We had a fantastic stay, beautifully convenient location to a number of key destinations, travel and parking was generally easy and convenient.
Property layout was superb, my elderly mother has had breathing equipment so, the ground floor bedroom was a serious boon for her. The garden was a lovely outdoor space, private with a nice church next door. Plenty of local services for breakfast, eating and drinking, lovely mill pond behind the property made for a good evening hound walk (after a long day on the beaches/dunes/castles!). Cottage was a wonderfully calm space, beautifully decorated and serviced - astonishing vision and commitment to the project when having comparing the Before and After Important to note, and in no way a fault of the cottage - Michaelmas Unbeknown to us when booking, there is an annual traditional St Michaelmas event in the first or second weekend of October. This event takes up a considerable part of Main Street and occupies the pavements and parking bays with a range of fairground attractions, several feet from the doors of properties. Great traditional event, full of joy and community, however, had we been aware, i would have avoided this week as the imminent disruption and uncertainly about parking and access was on my mind in advance and then, when it started on the Weds, there were numerous trip hazards by the workers erecting the rides. Parking was possible at the train station at the bottom of the road. Would happily use this property again
Wonderful house and outside space, well equipped and maintained.
Highly recommend.
A lovely and wonderful restored cottage very close to the high street.
The property had everything you needed and we loved the idea of a suggestion book to help enhance future guests experience. Christina was very helpful, contactable as and when required. Great location for exploring Pembrokeshire and to come back to a hot tub at the end of the day was a great addition. Would highly recommend.
