“We were very disappointed to arrive and the property to be found not cleaned.”

After complaining a couple of cleaners arrived on site who were extremely rude and told us they were drunk. The house clean was not up to standard at all. We couldn’t use the games room as it was still littered with popcorn and wrappers. The general cleanliness was not acceptable and we had to re clean some areas. There was still wrappers and dirty socks in the lounge area. A welcome basket was not left and not extra toilet rolls etc. However we did have a lovely holiday, even though we had ...

However we did have a lovely holiday, even though we had a small refund due to the cleaning situation, we don’t feel this reflected the service we received. I would be happy to be contacted about this to discuss further as it just feels our holiday didn’t get off to the start it deserved. After driving over 5 hours to be faced with a dirty house and also even after the clean it was in an acceptable state.

It's absolutely not acceptable for guests to arrive at a property that has not been cleaned, and we sincerely apologise for this. We have only recently relaunched the house as a holiday let with Sykes, and unfortunately there was a significant miscommunication with the cleaning team. This issue has now been resolved, and everyone involved is fully focused on ensuring the house is presented to the highest possible standard going forward. As a family-owned property, we are not professional holiday letting operators, and whilst mistakes can happen, we are working closely with Sykes to improve our processes and prevent this from happening again in the future. We completely understand the low score for cleanliness given the circumstances. However, we were wondering whether the other low scores reflect your overall experience, as we would greatly appreciate any further feedback on these areas so that we can continue to make improvements. The property

Brynmorfa is an impressive coastal property set in the village of Llangrannog, enjoying far-reaching views across the beach and within easy reach of local shops and pubs.

Made up of a main house and a separate annex, this seaside retreat is well suited to groups of friends and families seeking a memorable break along the Ceredigion coast.

The property looks out over the shoreline and provides ample parking, along with a non-enclosed front lawn furnished for outdoor dining with sea views.

To the rear, there is an additional patio area and a useful utility room. Guests enter through a characterful hallway with traditional tiled flooring, leading into the main house where distinctive decorative touches, including salvaged boat fittings, reflect the property’s coastal setting.

The sitting room is a welcoming space, featuring a woodburning stove that adds warmth and atmosphere while framing views across the cliffs and beach beyond.

The kitchen/diner forms a bright and sociable area, ideal for preparing meals and gathering together at the table.

Also on the lower-ground floor is a snug-style games room with a football table, alongside a relaxed space for reading and unwinding. The accommodation includes four bedrooms within the main house, starting on the first floor with one king-size bedroom and two twins, each with access to a smartly presented shower room.

On the second floor, the main bedroom offers a king-size bed, an en-suite shower room, and access to a balcony terrace where guests can enjoy morning coffee while overlooking the beach.

The annex adds further flexibility, providing two additional double bedrooms, a shower room, and an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area, complete with a woodburning stove. Llangrannog is a charming coastal village with a shop, pub, and a beach well suited to picnics and paddling.

A coastal path runs nearby for scenic walks, while the Llangrannog Ski Centre offers an active day out.

Nearby attractions include walks towards Tresaith Waterfall, the sandy beach at Aberporth, Cardigan with its historic castle, and the wider Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
