The sitting area invites you to cosy up after a day of exploring, while the kitchen area offers cooking appliances for your homemade meals and a dining table where you can plan your next adventure of dinner.

From here, the king-size bedroom provides you with somewhere to rest your head after a busy day, and the single room a delightful space for family time.

Completing the interior is a bathroom with both a bath and a walk-in shower, giving you the option for a quick freshen up after a day out or a long soak to unwind.

Externally, the elevated seating area is ideal to sip your morning coffee in the fresh air, while back down the steps on ground level, you can relax at the river-side picnic table in the private grounds.

Get in touch with nature with a trip to the nearby National Botanical Gardens for Wales and Aberglasney Gardens which make a lovely day out.

For shopping and dining, Carmarthen is just a few miles away and offers a wealth of pubs, restaurants and retail outlets to choose from.

History enthusiasts meanwhile can visit the stunningly perched ruins of Llansteffan Castle or the imposing majesty of Kidwelly Castle and don't forget to jump aboard the Gwili Steam Railway for a trip back in time from the new terminus at Abergwili.

Further afield you will find the picture-perfect Welsh coastline and the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park.
