Folly Cottage lived fully up to our expectations.

The directions to the property were precise and helpful. Janet, the owner, had provided an exceptional welcome pack and greeted us on arrival. There are several beaches close to the property. all of which we visited. Some are totally dog-friendly and others have designated areas. Folly Cottage is highly recommended.

We had a great time and the house was lovely.

Janet is a warm and welcoming host and the food gifts on arrival was a nice touch. The farm shop next door is amazing and we visited often. Janet gave some local advice and the house is a great base to visit the area. The house is spacious enough for a large family and garden area is great for the kids. Overall we had a great holiday and would recommend it highly

Very good garden for dogs. Good base to explore Pembrokeshire and the lovely beaches. Janet and Alan were lovely hosts and their vending machines over the road are a excellent commodity. Yummy milkshakes and lovely cakes and essentials. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

A truly excellent stay.

The accommodation offers everything you need for a relaxing break — a well‑equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, excellent showers, and strong, reliable internet. The little shop just across the lane is a real bonus for picking up fresh supplies. Highly recommended for a peaceful and well‑appointed getaway.

Fantastic cottage with a great host.

Welcome pack was a great addition Welsh cakes awesome, added bonus having fresh milk and other produce on your door step. Fantastic garden for the dogs. Cannot fault this property.

We had a great time and will definitely go back as there is so much to see and do within a half an hour drive.

The host Janet and Alan were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we wanted. The garden was ideal for my 2 large poodles.

3 and we just love it the shower toilet and bedroom on ground floor made my life a little easy has my mobility is not good there is a shower up with rest of bedrooms and the owner's are so friendly and help full my wife enjoyed her chats with them must say back again soon

Janet was so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

The beds were very comfortable infact my sister who doesn't sleep well had some of the best nights sleep in a while. There are some lovely beaches not far away and the vending machines across the road were a nice touch. We have already booked again. We loved our holiday here.

We had such a wonderful 3 week stay at this property and would definitely recommend.

The owners were absolutely lovely when we met on arrival. The house was spotless with everything you could possibly need. Very secure garden for dogs.

It’s a lot smaller than we thought from the pictures look a lot bigger but still as lovely as the pictures.

It was very clean when we got there and nice and welcoming. We had a lovely welcome pack from the owner which a nice touch. The beds everyone complimented how comfortable they were and the bedrooms were nice and spacious. Only think we found that it’s says it’s for 6 people but the living space doesn’t accommodate for 6 as there is only 4 seats so we’re split a lot in the living area and the kitchen. Also the kitchen table was a squeeze when we all sat for dinner and we had a teenager and a 10 year olds so it’s a bit squashy. It is all self catering so remember all the bits you need for the stay. The garden area was great for our dog and he loved the open garden. It’s situated lovely right in between saundersfoot and Tenby which we visited over two days. Heatherton park was only 13min away which was great having kids. They have a small farm shop on site which we used a lot and some farm vending machines which had local foods like cheese milk eggs ice cream meat which was is the owners of the house. Its was really refreshing and we love going to see what has been added. Overall the holiday was lovely for us. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was lovely for the owner to come and introduce herself and make the effort. We would highly recommend the house at folly cottage.

The place was lovely very cosy with the most amazing host’s!

Lovely cottage very clean and comfortable with everything that you need for a wonderful holiday, there was a welcome pack on arrival which had some delicious items, a great back garden for dogs or kids entirely enclosed for peace of mind, a wood burner which we used every evening as we stayed in December, it is in a brilliant location for visiting west Wales and beyond, all in all a five star experience.

We loved this cottage.

Lovely garden, close to lots of things to do, great kitchen and very comfortable beds. We loved the vending machines across the road, they sell local produce including incredible steaks and dairy products.

The property is wonderful and we were surprised with a lovely welcome pack.

The garden was lovely and big for our dogs although not 100% secure as my Manchester terrier discovered a break in the hedge and climbed the wall to see the neighbouring dogs barking at her every day. I'm glad she had her harness on so I could retrieve her easily. We were also a little disappointed at how public the back garden was and how busy the area is. We had a lovely stay and made good use of the vending machines. Unfortunately the downstairs toilet has a seat that isn't secure and the waste pipe to the kitchen sink was not fully attached.

Have a fabulous time I personally think this is the best dog friendly cottages have ever stopped in the owner's are friendly.

Lovely spacious and comfortable cottage.

Set apart so no immediate neighbours with back garden for dogs. Close to main road so easy access to area. 7 mins to dog friendly pub on beach. Janet was very friendly and brought me lots of delicious Welsh goodies in my welcome box. Food and milk available in farm unit opposite. I would be happy to come back!

From a delightful welcome pack of goodies until the moment we left we had a lovely time.

The property was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Good heating, with a log burner that created a comforting ambiance on the one night we needed it. Spacious enclosed garden that the dog thoroughly enjoyed. Convenient location for travelling and walks. Many relatively local beaches, walks and delightful places to eat. The milk vending machine across the track, together with the local produce vending machine and shop was a boon. Janet was a perfect host, always available, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Folly cottage was very clean and extremely well equipped.

Spacious bathrooms with great showers. Enclosed garden and although close to a main road the thickness of the double glazing subdued any traffic noise. We loved our stay and the dairy next door was a bonus as we could all testify. Ideal for so many places in South Pembrokeshire, would highly recommend.

The cottage was lovely and clean, the beds were comfy and the garden was very secure for the dogs and we were near some lovely beaches.

There was a lovely welcome pack but as we are a dairy free family we couldn't take advantage. There was also a very handy farm shop right next door with everything you need. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend staying there.

Absolutely wonderful house, great location near to several beaches, the milkshake vending machine opposite the property was very popular with the children.

The house was clean and issues were dealt with swiftly. The garden is big and secure, mattresses very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need in. Only 2 things to consider - the road is loud. It wouldn't stop us from staying again but something to consider. Also there isn't enough seating in the living room; only 4 seats. We absolutely loved staying at Folly Cottage, it is a beautiful house and felt like a home from home

Great cottage with all amenities.

Perfect location and ideal for family and dogs in secure garden. Lovely welcome pack from host and milk and fresh produce available from over the road is an added touch. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Magnificent property with magnificent host!

Everything you need and more is provided, close to lovely beaches with great walks for dogs. The beds are extremely comfortable and the showers were amazing. The vending machines and fresh produce next door was a wonderful bonus. We will definitely be returning.

Well equipped cottage with plenty of space.

Location was ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire and surrounding areas. Very friendly owners who popped by to check up and offer local advice. Vending machines next door were handy for snacks and fresh milk. Good local dog friendly beach -Amroth where there were three pubs - our favourite was Smugglers which had friendly staff, great beer and food. Looking forward to returning to Pembrokeshire again.

Had a lovely week at folly cottage, blessed with the weather, a great base for discovering Pembrokeshire, and close to Saundersfoot and Tenby .

The property was spotless, modern and homely, our dog ziggy enjoyed the fenced garden and we particularly enjoyed our meals outside under the parasol, Janet was a lovely host whom we met, and had lovely conservations with, the milkshakes from the dairy wear lovely,we would love to return some day

The cottage was clean and beautifully maintained. The large garden was a bonus and the dog loved it. We were lucky enough to sit out in the garden and soak up the sun. The only thing that was missing was some coat pegs. The vending machines opposite were great, the milk was delicious. The owner was lovely, greeted us on arrival and left some welcome gifts. Will be booking again.

Folly cottage is ideally situated to explore the Pembrokeshire coast.

The cottage was clean and comfortable, the owner was friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed as 3 adults and one small dog, the enclosed garden was a real bonus. There were ample towels, cooking utensils etc. The vending machine directly opposite had a good supply of locally produced meat, cakes, fresh milk and milkshakes. We would definitely recommend this property.

The property was beautiful and heart warmingly cosy.

It was well equipped, had everything we needed for a comfortable and practical stay and the host was a lovely lady who went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. We were very pleased and it exceeded our expectations. We cannot wait to return. The property had some lovely shops opposite for groceries and fresh milk, came in very handy as we got through essentials fast. Despite being near to the main road, the property was so quiet that you couldn't hear the road atol inside the house and it was like being in a homely bubble all week. Cannot recommend this place enough, even our little doggy loved it so much and felt instantly secure here. Beautiful enclosed, large garden where you get to sit and watch the sun set. A very soulful, uplifting, place if youre in need of some restoration. We didn't want to leave.

Host was lovely. Quiet location with excellent farm shop opposite. Short drive to some fantastic beaches. Very clean cottage and the kitchen equipment was of a good quality and everything you needed. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

It’s very comfortable and newly renovated to a very high standard, with a secure garden for dogs to enjoy. Janet the owner is very welcoming and nearby if needed. The cottage is well situated to explore the area, with beaches and beautiful walks close by. Hope to return!

Beautiful cottage.

Decorated to a high standard and couldn't fault it. Janet was very helpful and friendly. The location was too remote for us personally and you have to get in the car to go anywhere

Lovely, cosy cottage.

Beds are so comfortable, plenty of pillows too. Good sized showers in both bathrooms. Secure garden for our dog. Close proximity to a busy road but this did not impact on the peacefulness. Lovely log burner we used once . Kitchen has everything you might need. Janet the owner was on hand to answer any queries. The shop and vending machines opposite are a useful thing to have nearby. Really pleasant stay.

Folly Cottage has been nicely renovated and furnished to a high standard.

Lovely log burner and large TV in the lounge, comfortable beds and noticeably excellent showers. The shower rooms in particular we thought were great and loved the fittings. The large garden is enclosed which is good. As already mentioned to the owner, the property would benefit from a few homely touches and things like a guest information book, with local information, appliance instructions, emergency contact info etc and also things like washing up/cleaning equipment, scissors and a hairdryer as standard and somewhere to hang coats, but it is early days and as fellow owners, we appreciate how long it takes to bring everything together. A welcome pack, however small, would also be a good addition. As others have said, this a great general location to visit along the South Wales coast, from St David's to Swansea and even Cardiff, however sadly the close proximity of the property to a very busy and fast A road and junction did affect our stay. We completely appreciate however that this is our own personal opinion and the heavy traffic and noise may not affect other guests.

This is a beautiful cottage in the most perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire.

It had ever we needed and more!

Folly cottage is a superbly restored cottage providing easy access to all this part of Pembrokeshire.

It is owned and administered by Janet and Alan who proved to be excellent hosts and genuinely lovely people. The quality of fixtures is of a high quality and reflects their pride in the accommodation. We look forward to returning in the autumn.
