    “The property was clean.”

The bed was comfortable in the bedroom by the main door, the shower was good and the washing machine was great. I cannot comment on any other facilities as I did not use them. On arrival there was a leak from the sink in the bathroom, water going all over the floor, I put a bowl under it and it was fixed the following day, although I didn’t appreciate my personal stuff being used ( scourer ) to I assume clean up around the sink area. The front door opens straight onto the “dining area” so not a big or comfortable space to use. The porch area, where the washing machine is, needs a good clean & freshen up. The bed in the bedroom by the front door is raised and you cannot walk round it, and if two people are using it one would have to climb over the other to get out, it was also a bit difficult to make this bed. The sofa and TV look new, but the rest of the furniture is very dated. The outside seating area was not inviting and the view is of the back of flats and, I’m assuming, there emergency stairwell. The property is in need of some tlc. Although not listed there is a dishwasher. The location is great and the train station and town are about a 6 min walk. You can hear noise from the pub at the top of the road, but only in the lounge. This could be a great property if it was brought up to date. I was booked in for 28 nights but I left after 7. The owner did respond immediately to issues raised and was helpful & understanding regarding my reasons for leaving early. The location of the property is great, but unless it’s brought up to date I would not stay at this property again.
