    “Heron was great for a week of R&R over Christmas, - WHEN we managed to warm it up.”

    Didn't want to bother the contact unless urgent. We arrived after a long journey from Oxford to a COLD house. The cleanliness and VERY welcome fizz and Welsh cakes (also tea, coffee, milk) told us that someone had been in recently, so heating could have been switched on. Thereafter ~ lovely. Especially watching the bird life. A relevant bird book would have been a great asset. Everything we needed. The turkey tin was a really thoughtful addition, and the decorations a delight. Plus, ...
