Excellent accommodation.

Very warm, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. There’s a parking space, it’s a stones throw from the beach and it’s quick and easy to get to the town centre, the shops and the M4. It’s the second time we have stayed there and we will be back again. It’s possibly the best equipped holiday house we ever stayed in. Only downside is the extremely blunt bread knife!

This place was very good.

Had mostly everything u could need. Only complaint was the bed to firm.

We had a fantastic time in Port Talbot and the house was just perfect.

Lovely house in absolutely perfect location near to beach.

Great for the 3 of us and our dog. Would definitely recommend. As someone in earlier Reviews has said beds are so comfortable was looking for a label as to where they came from! The only one thing which would have made it even better for us would have been rattan furniture outside rather than a table and chairs.

The property was well equipped and comfortable, and was ideally situated for access to Aberavon beach and the nearby dog friendly beach that our dog loved.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sunny week that we spent there but a parasol would have been useful given the unexpectedly warm weather for the time of year. We would be happy to recommend this property for anyone wishing to spend time in this area. Swansea and Mumbles were well worth a visit and Emilia's fish and chip shop in Port Talbot was excellent.

Enjoyed our stay.

Right by the beach. Lovely clean and fresh. Had a few problems with the TV. Couldn't find BBC 1,ITV, Channel 4 , 5 etc. assumed there was no TV licence just sky etc. Everything you could wish for in the kitchen. Would have been nicer if the grass had been cut within the last few weeks (especially with the dog) Main bedroom lovely but no room to move especially at the bottom of the bed and bathroom tight squeeze. Loved Port Talbot and should we decide to revisit we will look at availability at No 39

Beautifully clean and comfortable house in a handy and gorgeous location!

Had a plethora of amenities and gadgets to make the stay hassle free. Only slight niggle was the safe key box (of which has been mentioned by previous occupants) - unlocked on arrival, however my husband managed to close and lock it on departure after some considerable fiddling. Would 100% recommend this lovely property to family and friends and would love to return. Thank you

Great house!

Exceptionally clean and really comfortable and cosy in what was a very cold week. It had absolutely everything we could need. Beds and shower were great and the house is really well equipped. It’s so good to have parking so close and the location was wonderful, just a stones throw from the beach and in easy reach of some lovely cafes and restaurants. We used it as a base to meet local friends and attend some family events and it was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Well, what can we say, what gem of a find.

The immaculately clean tidy house is fantastic. It has absolutely everything you need, right down to a multi phone charger by the side of the beds. The beach is about 100 steps away and perfect for dog walking, our three year old Cavapoo loved it. Grandson had great fun fishing off the jetty, so everyone was happy. Locals were very friendly and chatty. We met a lovely lady on the beach who just happened to live opposite the house. We will be back. Thank you for allowing us a lovey stay is your lovely home.

Lovely house, safe garden.

Everything you need provided. Had to shorten stay to 4 nights instead of 7 unfortunately due to illness. Great beach for dogs, literally on the doorstep. Definitely would rebook in spring or summer.

We have just had a lovely stay in a clean comfortable and well equipped house.

It’s had everything you would need for a perfect stay. Kath the owner was absolute star in suggesting we should stay for an extra night due to the Red government warning happening on our last night and preventing us travelling home due to the extreme weather conditions and the closure of the Severn Bridges. The neighbours that we talked to were so friendly and we would love to return next year. We had great days out in Swansea, Porthcawl, Bridgend, Maesteg and wonderful walks along the beach in Port Talbot itself.

The property was ideally situated for the beach and the local area, the facilities were excellent, well equipped and we would be happy to book again. The neighbours were friendly too.

All in all the property was fantastic for a vacation, no negatives, we were a little concerned as pre warned about the neighbours dog , but there were no issues what so ever (thankfully) the place was very well equipped but i would recommend easier to handle knives and forks especially for children , for us the location was perfect for the beach as we and dogs love to walk the coast line so thank-you to kath and to sykes

wonderful cottage, clean and bright.

All the necessaries in the kitchen. Perfect for the dog beach and some great cafes/ restaurants along the sea front. Came last year and will be coming back next !

We had the most lovely stay at Mariners Quay.

We used the house as a base to explore the wider area and it was perfect for this. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for ourselves, our children and our dog. There were lots of thoughtful touches like spare beach/dog towels available if you had forgotten your own. The 2 minute walk to the, dog friendly, little beach was great. And there is a children's splash park, just a short way along the front. We had days out in Cardiff, Gower and Tenby amongst other places. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

This property was one of the best we have ever stayed at.

It was clean, comfortable, home from home. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need with games for wet days. Just a short walk from the beautiful sandy beaches and places to eat. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

This is one of the nicest holiday homes we have ever stayed in.

Really well equipped, lovely and clean and comfortable and lots of thoughtful touches which were much appreciated. The house itself is in a great location, and it was such a treat to walk along the Aberavon Beach seafront every night. (We were exceptionally lucky with the weather the week we visited, so maybe it's not always so enjoyable!) This was a good base to explore a bit of South Wales and we visited Porthcawl, Mumbles and Margam Country Park while we were there. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone. The property was perfect for us (with 2 dogs) as the garden had a high fence and hard floors! The attention to detail was very much appreciated and the house was spotless. And literally a minute away from the beach. As someone who was born and brought up here but now lives 200 miles away, I hope to keep coming back here!

Great location very near to Aberavon beach and places further afield.

Friendly neighbours and locals. Great to have access to 2 places to park a car. A great place for our week long getaway in Wales. If I would improve anything I would mount the mirrors a little lower, even my 6 foot 2 brother in law found them a little high (apart from the one in the downstairs bathroom-which was fine). Providing beach towels was a great bonus (we forgot ours). Having lots of dog paraphernalia provided was also great. All in all, couldn't fault it. Might be back again next year.

We had a problem opening the key safe but the owner was with us in less than ten minutes to sort us out.

Which was excellent service. The cottage is a very short distance from the beach. Our little dog loved it. Only downside was no welcome pack. our last cottage in wales provided us with some Welsh cakes and milk so we could have a cuppa and a snack after our long journey. the property was lovely and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much

Fabulous to have a fully enclosed garden so we knew the dogs were safe. The house is clean, tidy and seconds away from the beach, which is partly dog friendly year around. We enjoyed visiting Barry island as well as Swansea and the mumbles. The local pub called the Brit is worth a visit also.

Only one shower which was a little difficult tbh as it is in main bedroom en suite ,,,other than that property was spotless well equipped and very comfy ,,beds were very comfortable linen and towels again first class really enjoyed our stay hope to return

All the rooms are smart and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Location is great to the beach, the host was very friendly, local shops, petrol station and supermarkets are easy to reach. Definitely recommended!

First of all unable to get in cottage until 5.

30pm because as we found out two numbers were missing and we had travelled up from shrewsbury Second NO HOT WATER FOR WHOLE WEEK housekeeper came round with husband couldn't fix it owner rang plumber wasn't able to come until Friday no good to us to install a new boiler Why didn't the housekeeper check before we arrived seems odd I had to boil kettles not good for me let alone a 96 yr old NO SHOWERS we paid enough money disgusting also mirror fell off wall only stuck on with tape good job we were down stairs

Comfortable house in great position right by sea.

Has everything you could need when staying there. Lovely to have Christmas tree for our stay before Christmas. Highly recommend.

Well situated to the beach ,Clean and comfortable, lovely back garden, great for you and your pups!

The kitchen is well equipped, great size ,Bedrooms, all a great size, living room very comfortable, everything you need ! Also if you need anything just ask ! No complaints! We will be going back ! Julie x

Lovely property right by a beautiful beach.

Comfortable and cosy with everything you could need supplied, nice decor and plenty of space. Highly recommend.

Very well maintained property.

Good quality comfortable beds, bed linen & furnishings. Tea, coffee, sugar, dog bowls, beach towels everything there if you have forgotten anything. I always take my own pillow on holiday with me as i am very particular, but did not even get it out of the bag, choice of clean pillows available. Great fully enclosed garden so no escaping dogs. Large dog friendly beach around the corner as well as a separate beach for us humans. Will hopefully be booking again next year.10 out of 10.
