“Shelia and how were lovely they welcomed us when we arrived and said if we needed anything just to knock their dog Bobby was great she said goodbye to us every morning and we were going out and welcomed us home when we came back.”

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable inside it had a patio just outside the door and a washing line to hung out cloths. As it was on a farm there were plenty of places to walk. There are lots of places to visit in the area. The dam was spectacular and the views around it were amazing. We also visited new Quay (the one in wales) and saw the dolphins in the harbour and out at sea. There were so many places that a week wasn't long enough so we definitely go ...

Nestled in the spectacular Cothi Valley, the small Welsh village of Pumsaint, also spelt Pumpsaint meaning five saints, is in a part of Wales which is almost undiscovered by visitors and is the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. After a great day out, the village pub offers both drinks and food and is a place to meet up with the locals to find out a bit more about this delightful location. Visit the Red Kite centre or the nearby Dolaucothi Gold Mines, which offers a unique insight into the ancient mining in the area and are truly memorable for all ages. The riding school nearby offers a chance to enjoy the superb countryside from a different perspective, and why not try a spot of fishing, visit the Brianne Dam or the Botanical Gardens. Alternatively, venture to the West Wales coast for sandy beaches and the famous coastal path. A wonderful area of Wales to visit.
