The house is on a very quiet friendly estate and had everything we wanted.The back garden is enclosed and was ideal for our two dogs

The location of the property is perfect for exploring everything Pembrokeshire has to offer.

It's quiet and peaceful too.

We recently stayed at 53 St Brides View in Pembrokeshire and had a mixed experience overall.

On the positive side, the property was clean on arrival and is situated in a lovely part of Pembrokeshire, making it a good base for exploring the surrounding coastline and attractions. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and both the lounge and bedrooms were cosy, with comfortable seating and beds. However, there were several drawbacks that affected our stay. The house is located within a residential neighbourhood, which may not appeal to those looking for a more secluded or scenic holiday setting. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable damp smell throughout the property, and the bathroom had visible mould. The bathroom itself also felt unfinished, with panels not properly completed, and the high step into and out of the shower made access awkward and potentially unsafe for some guests. The outdoor space was another disappointment. The garden appeared quite scruffy and lacked privacy, as it is overlooked by neighbouring properties, which made it less enjoyable to use. In summary, while the property has some strong points—particularly its location as a base for exploring Pembrokeshire and its comfortable interior spaces—it would benefit from improvements to maintenance, finishing, and the outdoor area to fully meet expectations.

It felt like home from home, even the dogs were relaxed.

Absolutely loved it you had absolutely everything you needed. The house was beautiful and clean and we didn't want to leave. Absolutely will be staying again next yr and recommended it to lots of friends. What more can I say my 1st time in Wales and the dogs 1st holiday. It couldn't have gone any better.

What a great property.

Immaculately clean and well equipped. Warm and cosy. The area is very quiet. The location is great, very close to Newgale Beach and Solva. The garden is very secure, even for my Springer Spaniels. I would certainly book again.

Nicely decorated and close to a beautiful beach. Newgale. Cottage had everything that you would need for your stay.Would recommend and would stay again.

Gorgeous property.

Very clean ,definitely home from home.

We were very happy with our accommodation.

The only thing I would like to point out is that my husband has an allergy to feathers and the lounge cushions have a feather pad, whilst we managed it might perhaps be wise to change them for future use.

Lovely comfortable very clean house in a very quiet cul-de-sac.

Probably the only downside for our stay was one toilet with no sink and one separate bathroom which made it awkward with four adults and two children. The listing needs to be changed as it says two bathrooms.

We had a lovely stay at Brides View, the weather was lovely and the house was perfect for our needs close to places to visit yet quite to come back too.

The property is welcoming, clean & well-equipped, with lots of natural light.

The small enclosed garden is nicely planted, with natural grass. Thank you.

We were very pleased with the property, very clean, everything we needed, the owner seems to have thought hard too make the stay the best it could be.

A lovely house, clean, tidy, exactly as advertised.

Comfortable and welcoming for dogs. Situated in a lovely part of the country, plenty of beaches and cliffs for everyone to enjoy and for the dog to run on.

We had a lovely weeks stay here at Roch.

The house was lovely and clean and had absolutely everything you.need for a comfortable stay. Comfy beds and a reclining sofa to put your feet up after a days exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire. Easy bus access to St Davids and Haverfordwest and a great local pub to walk to some 10 minutes away. Highly recommend St Brides and we will return! Many thanks

We loved staying here!

Good sized bedrooms upstairs and lovely downstairs layout. Really enjoyed family cooking in large kitchen- did miss a few essentials; chopping boards, bread knife. With 4 adults staying with a 6 year old- could have been nice for a second toilet downstairs but we appreciated this was extra. Would love to stay here again!!! Only 2 min car drive away from Stunning Newgale beach! Thankyou :)

A very nice rental property with a secure back garden for our dogs.

The owners had thought of all our needs . The welcome pack was appreciated. We have family nearby so this rental is ideally situated for us and so we will be happy to book this rental again. Plenty of nice places nearby to visit especially the local dog friendly beaches.

Would have been nice to have a toilet ground level.

I have to say we were disappointed with this holiday the house was lovely and really clean couldn't fault the property or directions.

The house could do with black out curtains or blinds in the bedrooms as being woke up at 4.45 every morning while on holiday is no fun. It would have been nice to have had a bigger TV in living room as the one that was there was so small and because I suffer with poor vision it made it impossible to watch. The shop was no longer open so if you needed anything you had to drive to find somewhere.the beach yesterday was only a short drive away but impossible to walk there unless you were really fit the nearest pub was a good 15 minute walk away and up hill on way back so again not suitable for anyone who had mobility problems.

The owners have given a great deal of thought to the facilities at the property with some lovely touches!

This was our second stay at this cottage and we enjoyed our stay again.

The cottage is in the ideal location for exploring the coast path. The only slight issue was the lights on the cooker hood have blown. We has return again in the future.

Convenient & quiet residential location within short drive of Newgale beach and short walk of Victoria Inn (microbrewery with decent food ).

I always have a great holiday with Sykes and I go 4 to 5 times a year, using Sykes every time.

Excellent accommodation.

Spacious, clean, very comfortable. Garden was perfect for the dog, enclosed and secure. Kitchen was so well equipped.

Quiet but close to local beaches . Facilities are first class - a real home from home. Would certainly use again.

This property is the crème de la crème of self-catering properties!

We found it to be exceptionally clean and well maintained and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Everything was thought of, even dog treats and dog bowls.

A lovely home away from home.

Clean and welcoming. Residential home on a quiet cul-de-sack on a small estate of houses. A really good base for exploring the western side of the national park. 10mins from Haverfordwest, 15mins from St.David’s. Excellent location. Large living room downstairs with a dining table and then kitchen with adjoining utility room. C3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 double beds and 1 with bunk beds. Shower/bathroom and separate toilet. Small garden to the rear of the property. No views of the Newgale bay though if that is what you were looking for. A really great stay. If I was going to offer any points for improvements then they would be: 1. Provide a key for the front porch so that visitors can leave items there securely. 2. Taps in the upstairs bathroom are a little dated and could do with improving, as could the shower, which was a little weak. I would consider the potential of adding another toilet/bathroom/showeroom to the property - just to make it more attractive to groups who need more than 1 - these are very nit-picky points though and I would stay here again having had a lovely holiday!

The cottage is in a wonderful location for visiting the coast and for walking on the Coast path.

Perfect location for exploring the beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire. The house was very clean, has everything we needed & more. Very comfortable, garden very secure for the dogs. This is probably one of the nicest houses we have stayed in. Extremely peaceful area. TV in the lounge is too small for the size of room but that's a very minor niggle as we weren't on holiday to watch TV. Highly recommend this house. Would definitely book again.

This is a comfortable, exceptionally clean holiday let.

A good base for beginning to explore some of Pembrokeshire's gems. The welcome pack was appreciated after a long but scenic 5 hour drive. Clear instructions and useful local or visitor information available. The local pub does serve good food, sadly the village shop was shut and cordoned off during our weeks stay, which was inconvenient. The Coastal Path walks are splendid, the free Maidenhall Estate NT car park, a short drive from the house allowed us to walk along the coast to Newgale Beach. For beaches and lakeside walks Stackpole Estate -NT is a must. History lovers will enjoy St David's City, Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, plus St Nons Chapel and Fishguard - Lower Town.

The holiday property has good kerb appeal and parking is enough.

On entering the property, it is cosy warm and welcoming, extremely clean comfortable and decorated to a high standard. Extremely well equipped, with everything you need and more besides, this has been well thought out. The welcome Welsh cakes and tea, a bonus after a long journey. Garden lovely to sit in on a nice day. Excellent place to stay as coast, beaches, pub, and castle gave us beautiful sights within easy reach. Would we stay again, MOST DEFINITELY!!!!!

The house is amazing.

All comfortable and clean. Dogs were safe in the garden. It is very well equipped but the only thing I could not find was a washing line or clothes airer..although I did find pegs.

A lovely well maintained house.

Very clean and warm, which was a bonus due to the awful weather we had. Really well fenced garden for the dogs, must be very pretty in summer. Only negative there was nowhere nearby to walk the dogs and the lovely beaches were lashed in gales. Nevertheless, lovely property in an amazing part of Wales.

This is our third year visiting as we like exploring the surrounding area.

The house is finished to a high standard, clean and tidy and a lovely welcome pack.

The beach is a short drive away and there are plenty of places to explore. The Victoria Inn is a short walk and dog friendly and the food was superb . We couldn't have had a better week weather wise. Roxy our westie was in her element. Would highly recommend.

The house was very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay.

The owners were very helpful with information and a welcome pack of food. The garden was perfect for our dogs. The location was ideal with a lovely beach a few minutes drive away. The local pub was very dog friendly and had a good variety of vegetarian options of a high quality. The local shop only opens in the morning but carries a good range of essentials. A nice quiet location and overall the house was perfect for our requirements.

A well presented property in a handy location with a fully enclosed garden.

Top marks for cleanliness & the laundry facilities. The reclining chair & couch was an added bonus much appreciated as were the comfortable beds. We visited the Victoria Inn & also the Duke of Edinburgh for food both of which were enjoyable but a little further afield (25 mins drive) we found the Jolly Sailor in Milford Haven. Excellent food, great beer garden looking onto the water, and like the previous ones mentioned, dog friendly. We had a great holiday & wished we'd booked for the fortnight.

We had a great week in this lovely property which is well placed for exploring Pembrokeshire.

The property was immaculately clean with refreshments and Welsh cakes on arrival which was a thoughtful touch. Our dog did jump the fence at one point but once settled in this wasn’t a problem. Lots of beautiful beaches within a few miles, as well as lots of walking and good pubs serving meals. Little Haven is not to be missed nor the ice cream parlour at St David’s. We may well be back. Thank you, highly recommended.

Real home from home & situated in a quiet location close to beaches.

Enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

We had a fabulous time here 4 adults a baby and 2 dogs.

We were initially cold and I couldn't find controls for the heating. I text the owner and he rang me straight away and helped me use them. It was super clean and great for our 2 small dogs. The location is great minutes from Newgale, Solva and Broadhaven. The local pub Victoria Inn was the best pub we visited on our trip. Lovely food, a micro brewery and really dog friendly. Highly recommend this house

A fabulous base for exploring the area.

The house was exactly as described and photos are accurate and up to date. The house is comfortable, well equipped and spacious. We enjoyed being able to sit out in the garden which was totally secure for our 2 small dogs. A friendly pub in walking distance serving great food was a bonus! Happy to recommend this property and would choose it again if we are in the area.

The place was spotless when we arrived, 10 out of 10 to the cleaner.

The area was so peaceful we really enjoyed our stay at the property. We do not revisit places normally but this one will be on a list for another visit in the future. Great place, great area, everything was perfect for us.

The cottage was superb but the customer service i received off Sykes was dire when i booked the cottage I REQUESTED the the holiday details in writing has I do not own a printer they sent it by email.

I tried to call them on many occasions then after a fortnight I got through and had to beg the agent to send it to me.I have found Sykes to be one of the worse holiday companys I have booked with.!NEVER AGAIN!
