“We recently stayed at 53 St Brides View in Pembrokeshire and had a mixed experience overall.”

On the positive side, the property was clean on arrival and is situated in a lovely part of Pembrokeshire, making it a good base for exploring the surrounding coastline and attractions. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and both the lounge and bedrooms were cosy, with comfortable seating and beds. However, there were several drawbacks that affected our stay. The house is located within a residential neighbourhood, which may not appeal to those looking for a more secluded or scenic holiday setting. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable damp smell throughout the property, and the bathroom had visible mould. The bathroom itself also felt unfinished, with panels not properly completed, and the high step into and out of the shower made access awkward and potentially unsafe for some guests. The outdoor space was another disappointment. The garden appeared quite scruffy and lacked privacy, as it is overlooked by neighbouring properties, which made it less enjoyable to use. In summary, while the property has some strong points—particularly its location as a base for exploring Pembrokeshire and its comfortable interior spaces—it would benefit from improvements to maintenance, finishing, and the outdoor area to fully meet expectations.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re pleased to hear that you found the property clean, comfortable and well equipped, and that it provided a good base for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. We would like to clarify a few points mentioned in the review for the benefit of future guests. The property is located at the address shown in the listing and is situated in a residential area, which many guests appreciate for its convenient access to local amenities and the surrounding attractions. Unfortunately, the location itself is of course not something that can be changed. We were also concerned to read the comments about damp and mould. Following the review, both myself and our cleaner carried out an additional inspection of the property and were unable to find any evidence of mould or any damp smell. Cleanliness is something we take extremely seriously, and we are proud that many of our previous guests have left excellent reviews specifically commenting on how clean and well maintained the property is. The bathroom includes a bath with a shower over it, which naturally requires stepping into the bath. This is clearly shown in the photos provided in the listing. The property is not advertised as disabled-accessible accommodation. We also aim to be completely transparent in our listing and provide clear photos of both the bathroom and garden so guests can see exactly what to expect before booking. The garden is maintained weekly by a professional landscaper to ensure it remains tidy and enjoyable for guests. Thank you again for your feedback, and we’re glad you enjoyed several aspects of your stay. We remain committed to providing a comfortable, accurately represented holiday home for guests visiting this lovely part of Pembrokeshire. We’re proud of the consistently positive feedback we receive from guests and remain committed to maintaining the high standards that visitors to the property have come to expect. Property Owner
