Primose Cottage

Overall a really lovely base for a stay in Pembrokeshire.

Lovely cottage, well equipped and clean. Only minor thing, personal preference, is the fact the main bedroom has a double bed and not a king size bed. But this would not stop us staying again, but worth mowing if you are taller.

Our stay was really lovely, it was extremely cosy, comfortable and tranquil.

The surrounding area was peaceful & beautifully kept - lovely owner and very accomodating. The alpaca's on the site were an added sweet bonus!

Great location and within driving distance to tourist spots , beautiful barn conversion within well kept area .

Every detail well thought out and catered for all needs . Would definitely recommend and stay here again . Thank you to Owen

Most relaxing holiday home ever couldn't fault it at all, highly recommend it, a tremendous effort has been put in to make everything so special from inside to the outside , this is down to Owen ,hard worker , welcoming with advice and knowledge of the area .

Fantastic cottage in a great central location.

Everything we wanted and needed...even a slow cooker! We didnt realise there were clothes washing facilities available. It would be helpful if this was on the listing.

Primrose Cottage is delightful - well equipped, cosy and warm, just the right size, plenty of parking and in a perfect spot for exploring the beautiful and fascinating area.

Primrose Cottage was lovely to stay at.

It was really well equipped with kitchen utensils, waste bags, and homely commodities - everything had been prepared for - with a useful guest book which provided all info needed. It was a very comfortable stay. And the llamas were an added perk!

We didn’t actually stay in primrose, as we arrived to find that one of the other visitors had taken it!

Owen sorted that out very quickly and we stayed in cowslip instead, which I think is a little bigger?

Nice cosy cottage great location to see the best of Pembrokeshire, this is the 2nd cottage we have stayed in at church farm, we stayed in cowslip cottage both very good & we are going back in oct !

We had a great time and would like to return.

But there were a few issues that needs some attention. The kettle is broken. The switch that opens the lid is broken and we had to fill the kettle through the spout. The wooden frame in bathroom is rotting so each time we opened the window, the long catch along the bottom came adrift - the screws that attach it couldn't stay in the wooden window frame as it's rotting so we had to stop opening the bathroom window which was unpleasant at times. Each time the shower was used it leaked through the floor and living room ceiling, dripping onto the floor but very close to the TV which concerned us. We used a pot to catch the dripping water. The tray the toaster was on had crumbs from previous people and so did a casserole dish that we wanted to use . However, these problems didn't spoil our enjoyment of the cottage. It was very warm and comfortable. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable. The location is good for the places we wanted to visit. The grounds are pleasant but the pond could do with some attention. The problems we mentioned did not in any way detract from our enjoyment of the holiday and we have just mentioned them because if they could be resolved the cottage would be perfect.

Ideally placed for going to all the Pembrokeshire coast .

Had a good time only problem cooker in the wrong place my wife knocked her back on the spiral staircase first day so we ate out every night.

Lovely welcome and good location would recommend very rustic and i bet its great in the winter with the log burner on

Lovely property with very helpful owners.

Lovely cottage, had most amenities needed and was ideally located in a quiet village with walking routes accesible.

Only downsides were the decor was a bit old and tired in terms of some of the furniture and therefore not very comfy and it wasn't 100% clean (which I'm aware is hard to achieve in a property that allows pets) Overall I'd still recommend this to others and I would stay again. The grounds it was situated on were immaculate and had great facilities such as a laundry room and bbq area.

Very nice gentleman who owns it very helpful and friendly lovely cottage with all you need to be self accomodating.

Bad parts shower was very temperamental and could use more pillows (only had 1 thin one each ) but I didn't complain either so not his fault really .

The Location is quiet and secluded while still be close to amenities - especially with a lovely pub a few doors up the country road.

The mix of quaint cottages and huts with lamas in the field with a BBQ and sitting areas scattered about is restful and relaxing, a lovely place for the whole family. The cottage we stayed in was lovely and homely, my only rug bare would be the wifi is weak and non existent upstairs (used my phone as a hotspot to boost the wifi upstairs) could use a booster within the property, the water pressure upstairs was a bit weak, and with the size of the bath takes a long time to fill and empties the hot water storage, and the bath is more a sitting bath rather a relaxing bath (maybe a large bath pillow could help) But my main issue was the mattresses, they are imo past due replacing (toppers can save only so much). IMO with better quality mattress' and a jet bath installed with a small bit of updating about, the price cap could easily be raised accordingly or more occupancy. Our overall stay was amazing, a home from home, quiet, undisturbed stay with everything you could need on hand

Really enjoyed our stay in primrose cottage everything we wanted the only minus was the shower was switching from hot to cold all the time .

Absolutely lovely.

Beautiful little cottage, lovely peaceful surrounds. Lovely village with great quiet little pub. Darts and pool available. Close to attractions and beaches. Will visit again, would like to try Shepherd hut. Alpacas were also a lovely distraction! Many thanks

The kids loved the animals and chatting to Owain the owner too. We felt so relaxed and was very welcoming.

This was a lovely cottage with all we needed for a comfy week.

Cottage is extremely well appointed, everything you could need for your stay The weather was not brilliant which meant some of our plans were curtailed but you cannot order that.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Primrose Cottage.

Everything you need is in the cottage and there is the added bonus of the alpacas and other animals in the grounds and the availability of home-grown veg and home- produced honey from the on-site beehives. Would recommend.

Cottage very cute and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

The place was great but I would never book through Sykes again, and would never recommend you to anyone because of the way you handled our original booking in 2020 which had to be cancelled due to Covid.

It was impossible to get through to you, or amend the booking online until you had taken the full balance from our credit card. Then you had the cheek to charge extra for transferring it to the following year! Sharp practice and very poor customer service.

We stayed in a Primrose cottage over bank holiday weekend and we were really happy with our choice.

Location is perfect for many trips- Tenby less than half an hour, Pembroshire coastal path the same. The cottage is well equipped. Wood burner was a nice surprise!

Lovely, warm and cozy cottage.

Great playground outside with the extra bonus of some friendly alpacas. Very child friendly. Check in was smooth and uneventful. Unfortunately, on the day of checking out, 3 different people tried to get into our cottage between 8am and 9:30am, despite check out time was 10am. We thought they were thieves trying to break in, so it was a stressful and uneasy morning, which left a bitter taste in our mouths.

Beautiful area close to everywhere and the owner of the cottages was very pleasant.

Loved the alpacas and would definitely consider these cottages again when taking a trip to Pembroke.

The kitchen was extremely well appointed. A great location to access Pembrokeshire. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed watching the alpacas!
