Sheep grazed close to the raised patio at the back where a panorama of trees float off into the distance, as far as the eye could see. On good days, the patio is a suntrap ideal for private sunbathing. It is also a great location for a cup of tea or glass of wine.
Of the many holiday venues we have ever stayed in, this is the cleanest - right into all the corners. Hot water was plentiful and heating effective. Furniture and beds were comfortable and the rooms were very airy and spacious. There was ample cutlery, crockery and glasses. As we never use a microwave, cooking utensils felt a bit limited.
The owners were helpful and careful to respect our privacy.
This is a great cottage in a unique location. Highly recommended.
Glad you enjoyed your stay the views are here always but the cooking utensils are what is usually needed as most people eat out anyway but I'm sure we could have done better if we had realised you wanted more thanks for staying with us
