“School Lodge was perfect for us & our 5 sizeable dogs.”
Really secure garden with fake grass that made life easy given the weather. We visited Pleasant Meadow Dog field to give them all a good run in the morning and the garden & local walks gave them everything else they needed.
School Lodge is spacious, very well equiped and everything works great incl wifi (no phone signal when we were there). It was also super clean - despite being dog friendly. For others with dogs, there are 2 lightweight benches that can be put on the sofa to stop dogs getting onto them if your dogs are as entitled as ours although I'd recommend taking big throws too, for piece of mind.
Our stay was somewhat impacted by only one bedroom being made up on arrival, which I still don't understand as I booked School Lodge as 2 bed accommodation. Unfortunately because the host was away, no extra linen could be given to us until the 2nd day of our 2 night stay but we muddled through.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend School Lodge to others.

Apologies again for the fact the second bedroom was not made up. For bookings of two people I routinely only make up the master bedroom, the second bedroom is made up upon request. I’m not sure why your request wasn’t passed onto me in your booking confirmation.
I’ll speak to Sykes to make sure this is displayed clearer for future guests when booking.
