The apartment was in a lovely setting and would have been very good if not let down by the cleanliness.
The windows where filthy, the skirting boards where dirty, the bathroom had black mould around the ceiling and over the doorway, the larger bedroom was musty and had damp bedding. The cleaning let down an otherwise lovely apartment. Despite complaing to Sykes multiple times i have yet to be contacted by them regarding thuz matter. Extremely disappointed with this company
Suited us great as my mam is 90 and uses a zimmer floors were great for that its a nice apartment there were only a few things we couldn't go in till half4 they were cleaning it the hot water very slow out of taps patio doors need oiling needs a bit of tlc couple of things missed when cleaning nest tables needing wiping corners of bedroom floors needed hoovering but all in all very good for the money
For the most part the location was great, and the house had all we needed in terms of amenities.
It was walking distance from the town, super close that you could run back if you ever forgot something. Close enough to the beach and all the restaurants - which was great. The cleanliness was really horrible though. Very apparent black mould in the bathroom (top of the walls), on the shower head, hair on the shower walls (from someone else), piles of dust in the extractor fan, and very distinct smell in the house when we got there (as if it had been run through by a wet dog). The chairs had quite a lot of dog hair on them, which I genuinely didn't expect - nor really enjoyed as I'm not a pet owner. All in all though, good stay, we had a good time, and made some lovely memories, thank you for letting us stay here.
