“Rhodewood Lodge is quite simply breathtaking.”
We were a group of 6 friends staying for a 50th birthday and the property had everything we could have wished for. We were a group of 6 friends staying for a 50th birthday and the property had everything we could have wished for. Beautifully decorated and incredibly well appointed, with huge living spaces and comfortable bedrooms. The open plan kitchen, dining room and sitting room was the hub of the home during our stay and meant that we could all be together while cooking. There is everything you could need to self-cater - we cooked a full Sunday roast and there was every baking tray, kitchen utensil and serving dish imaginable, plus a huge oven which made meal prep a breeze.
All six of the bedrooms are so comfortable - soft bed linens, plenty of storage and a never ending supply of hot water for showers and baths. The hot tub is a great addition.
Rhodewood Lodge is a short walk to Saundersfoot harbour with some lovely shops and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. We swam in the sea (soft sandy beach) and walked from the Lodge to Tenby along the Coastal Path, as well as down onto the beach directly down the hill from the Lodge to collect mussels for our paella. We could easily have stayed a month and not got bored.
Rhodewood Lodge is a credit to Sarah and her family who have lovingly restored the property (do look at the book on the living room shelf for the before and after pictures!!). We can't thank you enough for an incredible stay.
