“When booking the Garden Flat l read the reviews which weren’t great, but the location and the fact it was only ten minutes walk to the beach and harbour where in it’s favour.”

Saundersfoot and the local area are picturesque and beautiful so reading the reviews and the fact it was only going to be a short stay my expectations weren’t high. It’s a shame really the place lacks maintenance and could do with a deep clean right through. The most annoying thing was the outer bathroom door handle was missing so difficulty entering. The bulb above the mirror in the bathroom was blown which made the mirror useless. Part of the shower was broken which had been mentioned ...

Part of the shower was broken which had been mentioned in previous reviews and still hadn’t been repaired. The window in kitchen is stuck shut and can’t be opened, plus the double glazing is blown so you can’t see out.Although the place was warm and comfortable it lacks homely comforts and I personally would only give it a two star rating and not the four that’s listed. It would be nice to think that Sykes Cottage’s for there reputation would make sure there inspections were more thorough.
