    “We enjoyed our stay at Arfryn.”

    Lovely spacious bungalow with a well thought out layout. Very clean and comfortable with a nice sea view and some pretty personal touches. We appreciated the welcome pack and plenty of information about appliances etc., also that the property was in a quiet area. It was however, close to the village with shops and pubs serving lovely meals and there were lovely coastal walks nearby. Thanks for our lovely stay. Brenda

Arfryn is a pet-friendly property located in the picturesque village of Solva, Pembrokeshire.

This property features ground-floor living and offers stunning sea views while being conveniently close to local amenities, making it an ideal choice for a family vacation in Wales.

Upon arrival, access is via a few steps to the hallway and the sitting room is furnished with two comfortable sofas, a woodburning stove and Smart TV.

The open plan kitchen/diner is equipped with an electric oven and hob, ideal for preparing meals to be enjoyed around the dining table.

After dining, guests can step out into the garden or unwind in the conservatory, taking in the sea views or basking in the evening sun.

Stroll down to the stunning Solva Harbour where you can  go crabbing, paddleboarding, jump off the quay wall or go for a drink or an ice cream before following the path along the quay to the lower village with its shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs For sea adventures visit the beautiful beaches at Caerfai, Whitesands and Newgale for swimming, surfing, snorkelling, exploring caves, or windsurfing.

There are also plenty of opportunities for boat trips to explore the coast and wildlife or go fishing.

In St Davids, guests can visit the Oriel y Parc Gallery, escape from St. Davids Escape Room, or admire the impressive Cathedral. The Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park is also nearby, offering spectacular hikes along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with picturesque views.

SOLVA

St Davids 6 miles; Haverfordwest 12 miles.

A superb village around a tidal harbour where boats can be launched and walks along the dramatic coast path will be a delight any time of the year. This pretty little village may be small but offers friendly pubs serving good food, gift shops, art galleries and a nearby superb woollen mill shop where special gifts can be bought to remember your stay in Wales. Lazy days sitting and watching the ebb and flow of the tide and the boats bobbing in and out of the harbour are a sheer delight. Visit the nearby woollen mill itself to sit by the waterwheel, go into the weaving shed or enjoy a break in the cafe. Just a few miles from Solva you can visit St Davids, the smallest city in Britain, with its magnificent St Davids Cathedral and wander the small streets to again find unique gifts, eat a hearty meal or an afternoon tea, or just sit in the peaceful grounds of the cathedral, it also houses Oriel y Parc an information centre offering suggestions for exploring the surrounding area.
