Garth Cottage
Description
Garth Cottage is a charming hideaway tucked in the centre of St Davids, Pembrokeshire, just a stone’s throw from the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
With sweeping views of the sea, mountains, and cathedral, a cosy open fire, and permit parking for one vehicle, this welcoming retreat is ideal for small families or a group of friends, and 2 well-behaved pets are also invited.
Step inside to find a homely sitting room, where a plush sofa and armchair beckon you to unwind beside the flickering fire.
It’s the perfect place to spend your evenings, whether you’re catching up on a favourite series or simply enjoying the warm glow.
Continue through to the kitchen/diner, which is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, and gather around the dining table to share meals after a day of exploring.
Upstairs, two peaceful bedrooms await: the king-size room features a wall-mounted TV and an armchair for quiet reading, while the single room offers a restful space to head off to dreamland.
A sleek bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin, and WC completes the upper level, giving you the option of a refreshing rinse or a lovely soak.
Outside, the enclosed front courtyard extends the living space, with a picnic bench ideal for sunny breakfasts or evening drinks as you plan your next adventure.
Step beyond the cottage and explore the rich heritage of St Davids, visit the majestic Cathedral, a historic site of pilgrimage, or take a scenic walk to St Non’s Chapel and Well, where panoramic coastal views await.
From St Justinian’s, embark on a coastal journey to witness dramatic cliffs and fascinating wildlife.
Spend a day at Scolton Manor, a Victorian country house surrounded by 60 acres of parkland known as Scolton Park, refreshed by the flowing Doxbin.
For those seeking excitement, Hangar 5 Trampoline Park offers hours of high-flying fun.
The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is close by, offering scenic coastal hikes, wildlife boat tours where you might spot seals and seabirds, and opportunities to kayak through secluded coves and sea caves.
After a day of discovery, return to the peaceful comfort of Garth Cottage, ready to recharge for tomorrow’s adventures.

It was a really cosy, very well equipped little cottage that is ideally situated for exploring St David’s and the surrounding area. Angela provided a welcome tray and offered us some excellent recommendations for local eateries etc. It all made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
