“Lovely homely feel, great location, parking real bonus.”
Clean. Quiet. So convenient for town and cathedral, (cut through next to Farmers Arms) and coastal path was so easy to access. Nice distant views. Locals/neighbours friendly. Two good showers. Upstairs bathroom lovely. Comfy sofas. Couldn’t work out TV v well, but got freeview after a while, and I could sign in to Netflix.
(Didn’t spoil it for us, and in the nicest possible way I would say - a name /number on the property would be good, oven needs attention, rattles very loud, beds not too bad but mattress toppers would be a benefit for extra comfort. Also, I think the instructions are a little out of date as nothing on fridge re: rubbish collections, more coasters would be handy and kitchen scissors - (I tried my best but it appears the bin was not collected on Thurs despite me putting it next to the road on Wednesday eve) ) Just a suggestion but I think guests might pay a little extra for a local welcome pack on arrival ! (Bread , tea, coffee milk biscuits etc)
Advice for guests: google earth it, I couldn’t see a number or name on the property, in saying that it was obvious if you look at the picture on Sykes and keenly look out for it , also although there were a few bits in the cupboards ie. salt/pepper/tea bags/ bin bags/ some cleaning stuff, you do really need to take all provisions if you want a cuppa on arrival eg. coffee, milk, etc.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend and stay again if in the area, I thought it was reasonable price for the facilities, and time of year. Thank you.
