When we arrived at the spotlessly clean house — genuinely 10 out of 10 for the cleaners — Ben appeared, dog in tow, apologising that he was just popping out to get some milk… from six miles away. The house itself is a gem. Three large bedrooms, each with its own generous en suite (complete with very white, very fluffy towels), a downstairs loo, a utility room, two lounges, a kitchen, and even a dedicated dog room — fully equipped with a dog bed, dish, and toys. Outside, there’s an enclosed garden for the dog, complete with a warm water hosepipe. Ben has genuinely thought of everything to make the holiday special for us and for the dog.
This is, without doubt, the best Sykes property we’ve ever rented. That, together with that glorious Pembrokeshire countryside and its beaches, we’re already looking at when we can return.
As an earlier review said - "Landfall is a simply perfect Holiday house." It is.
