    “First of all we would like to thank Rob & Angie who was fantastic hosts The cottage was amazing very old and sublime very clean with all the mod cons that you would ever need.”

    The cottage has a wonderful garden where you can sit and all you hear is birds in one ear and the sound off running water in the other from the river and when you look up on a clear night all you see is Stars we loved our stay and was sorry to leave a big thank again Rob & Angie for making our time with you so wonderful Gary Linda & Aflie the Dog

Enter the stylish kitchen/diner and take a seat at the table with a warming cup of tea in hand, the good range of contemporary appliances at hand allowing you to prepare a family-favourite meal in no time when you're not out sampling the local delicacies of Wales.

Move through into the sitting room and unwind in front of the television for those relaxing evenings in, or gather together under the roofed decking area for shaded relaxation whilst your canine companions play in the private enclosed garden basking beneath the sun.

The ground floor is also home to a convenient cloakroom and a utility area, while the first floor hosts the charming bedrooms, made up of two doubles, one of which has its own en-suite bathroom , the Velux windows creating a bright and airy setting to wake up to each morning.

There is a bandstand which offers a wonderful seating area for when the sun is shining and great cover for those rainy days.

Three unique cottages resting in the sleepy village of Star, in easy reach of all of the amenities that Cenarth has to offer, the Star Cottages are wonderfully suited to groups of friends or families seeking a scenic escape to Wales. Boasting easy access to many coastal and countryside attractions, it makes a beautiful base at any time of the year. Together sleeping a total of ten guests, The Nook sleeping two while The Hen Pen and Pendre Cottage host four people each, they provide a flexible sleeping arrangement for a variety of group needs. Each cottage boasts its own characterful interior, combining an eclectic mix of rustic with a homely charm, with all properties offering their own garden space too, perfect for if you're seeking a quiet moment with a loved one or if you want to gather to dine alfresco. There are plenty of opportunities for rambling and cycling from your doorstep, with a plethora of scenic picnic spots awaiting to be discovered, while the nearby village of Cenerath provides all you could need for a self-catered stay including convenience shops where you can select fresh treats for your picnics, along with a pub, café and tearooms where you can indulge in a tasty snack when you don't feel like cooking. The village is also home to a gift shop where you can pick up the perfect souvenir as well as The National Coracle Centre at Cenarth Falls, home to a collection of coracles from Wales and around the world, it's a true wonder to be seen. Cardigan 7.5 miles; New Quay 18 miles.

The village of Cenarth is located on the River Teifi, with its picturesque water falls where you can enjoy peaceful walks and sometimes catch sight of the local fishermen out on the river in their coracles. Visit the Coracle Museum, tea rooms, gift shops or pubs to complete your delightful day out. The coastal town of New Quay is close by where you can book a local boat trip to go dolphin spotting. Alternatively, visit The Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran where you may see badgers, otters, buzzards and even deer, or why not explore Cilgerran Castle? With local mills, craft centres, potteries, cheese making and much more you will be spoilt for choice in this part of Wales.
