    “We had a lovely stay at The Retreat, it was peaceful and relaxing.”

    The lodge is comfortable, especially the beds, and it has a lot of homely touches. The lodge is ideally placed to visit a lot of places such as Narberth, Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby - we had a great day visiting Caldey Island by getting the ferry from Tenby harbour, the island itself has the most beautiful unspoilt beach. In fact, all the beaches in Pembrokeshire are beautiful and well kept. Well worth the visit.

    The lodge is comfortable, especially the beds, and it has a lot of homely touches. This ground floor luxurious lodge is on an exclusive park near to the fabulous beaches of South Wales, and adjacent to fantastic walks through the pretty village of Wisemans Bridge.

The Retreat offers a light and spacious open plan living area which includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

The lodge benefits from a TV, DVD and Nintendo Wii, ensuring children are well catered for whatever the weather.

There are two double bedrooms, with one having en-suite facilities, and one twin bedroom along with a family bathroom.

Outside, the balcony style veranda is the perfect place to relax and enjoy each other’s company whilst planning the next day’s activities.

Close by there's plenty to see and do, including a number of nearby sandy beaches, theme parks, the Welsh Zoo, historic castles and countryside and coastal walks.

Wisemans Bridge is a seaside village with a pub and a lovely beach. With parking on the roadside and traffic free easy access down onto the beach you will enjoy its sandy areas, its rock pools and discovering the seaside life on its rocks. The track on an old railway line takes you through a short tunnel to the quiet beach at Coppet Hall, where another short tunnel connects with Saundersfoot making this ideal for walkers and cyclists looking for something a bit different. As well as the wonderful beaches, this beautiful area is home to an array of castles, ancient monuments and theme parks. These include Oakwood, Heatherton, the Welsh Zoo and Folly Farm. Places of interest include the Blue Lagoon and the National Trust's Stackpole and Colby Woodland Gardens. A superb choice of cycle routes and walks are just on your doorstep. No matter what you are looking for in your holiday and whenever you visit, you will be spoilt for choice and eager to return again and again.
