Perched on the outskirts of Wisemans Bridge near Stepaside in Pembrokeshire, is this superb four-bedroom bungalow, The Dingle.

Park-up in the ample driveway with space for four cars, before making your way into your new home-from-home.

Be welcomed into the spacious open-plan living room, where you can look forward to relaxing whilst watching your favourite film on the Smart TV, as the wood burning stove crackles nearby or taking in the sweeping view across to Saundersfoot.

At dinner time, look forward to rustling up mouth-watering meals in the fully-equipped kitchen/dining room, with a handy dishwasher for those fuss-free clean-ups!

Just off the kitchen is a utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh.

Settle down to dinner at the dining table with surrounding views of the private woodland, or if the weather is nice, why not open up the sliding doors to dine alfresco out on the private, enclosed decking enjoying a wood fired pizza from the clay oven or cooking on the barbecue.

For a wider selection of amenities, head over to Saundersfoot, where you will be kept busy with an excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst those who enjoy angling can take advantage of the brilliant fishing opportunities or boat trips on offer.

Be sure to spend a day at the village’s picturesque Blue Flag beach or if you’re looking to soak up the sights, why not embark on a hike of the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path within easy access from The Dingle’s driveway on foot.

A great place to enjoy picturesque coastal walks with Wiseman’s Bridge beach within 10 minutes walk and Amroth beach 20 minutes walk away from The Dingle.

Or if you prefer to cycle head to Saundersfoot through the tunnel from Wisemans which once carried coal from local mines.

This old railway line heads up to the historic ruins of Stepaside Iron Works and is great for children or wheelchairs.

Just a little further you will find the historic town of Tenby, well-known for it’s 13th-century town walls, the remains of Tenby Castle which overlook the village and award-winning beach, as well as its ample watersporting and adventure opportunities, including cliff jumping, cave swimming and rock climbing!

Amroth 1 mile; Saundersfoot 4 miles; Tenby 6.5 miles; Narberth 7 miles; Pembroke 10.8 miles.

Once home to both coal and iron mines, Stepaside is now a holiday hamlet with a few houses pubs and restaurants. This valley was a hive of industrial activity from the 14th to the 19th century as it was an integral part of the Pembrokeshire coal field. It’s hard to imagine that now, as very little remains apart from the old ironworks at Stepaside and the railway tunnels between Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot. There were 12 collieries working in this area at its heyday. The whole of Pembrokeshire beckons with the harbour and seaside resorts of Amroth just 15 minutes’ walk away, Tenby and Saundersfoot close by, visit secluded sandy beaches, such as the acclaimed Barafundle Bay for a quiet relaxing day, or take in an invigorating walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Path. Enjoy a boat trip to Caldey Island and its monastery, or to Skomer, which is renowned for its puffins. For the most adventurous, extreme watersports await, whilst golfers can take the challenge of Tenby's famous links course. The nearby town of Narberth is a delight to discover with its many individual shops, including upmarket boutiques, specialist deli grocers and unique gift shops, and a wide choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs can be found in and around the town. Queen's Hall, Narberth's leading cultural and arts venue hosts a variety of concerts, plays and events, which can be enjoyed throughout the year. A perfect holiday base at any time of year.
