“We had a great weekend stay here, it had everything we needed.”
The kitchen is well-equipped so we didn’t need to bring things like washing up liquid, soap, tea towels etc. and some milk. Bathrooms have soap and lots of towels. Washing machine and clothes airer were handy. Some things to note that concerned me on other reviews -
Air Con - It was 26c outside when we arrived but the air con was brilliant, kept the lodge cool and comfortable, plus there is a tower fan if you need it. All glass windows have blinds so we kept those shut when out too, we ...

Air Con - It was 26c outside when we arrived but the air con was brilliant, kept the lodge cool and comfortable, plus there is a tower fan if you need it. All glass windows have blinds so we kept those shut when out too, we opened the doors late afternoon to get some air through.
Furniture - There is an extra chair and foot stool in the living room not shown in the photos, so we had lots of sitting space. The mattresses are amazing - best weekend of sleep, I usually have hip pain but will be buying one of these!!
Parking - some of the listings describe this as “tight” which concerned me, but it’s a normal sized parking space with others either side. It was very easy to drive in, do a 3 point turn to leave the car facing up the ramp to easily drive back out. We have an SUV and was no problem to park, just a bit of a steep driveway to get to it but no issue.
Tips - Tenby is hilly, if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you, but we found it fine to walk into Tenby town which took about 10 minutes. There is a co op a few minutes drive which opens 7 days a week from 7am - get there at 7.30am and they are putting the fresh bakery items out and it has a Costa machine. We had the best coffee and croissants one morning.
Nearby - We loved Saundersfoot which was a 10 minute drive, we hired a stand up paddleboard £12 1 hour, £20 2 hours at the beach and had great fun. Lovely town and old tram tunnels to walk through to Wiseman’s Bridge where we then walked through beautiful woods to Stepaside.
Thank you again we loved our stay here and would recommend it!
