Dringarth

Our stay at Dringarth was perfect from the moment we parked on the driveway (which is an added plus, no stress dropping bags and then hunting for a space.

) We didn't use the car once as the location was perfect for the beach, town, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and the weather was on our side mostly! A spacious property which accommodated our family well, 3 adults and 2 teenagers, home from home. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and family friendly lounge/dining area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Dringarth was a lovely house to stay in, it was a home from home.

A lovely house in a convenient location.

Well equipped kitchen. Normally I would expect to find a list of practicalities such as recycling details, wifi code etc, but there was nothing printed out - I had to phone the owner instead and try and make notes as we talked, which was not ideal.

The welcome pack was much appreciated. No issues throughout the whole week, and i would highly recommend this holiday home. Short walks to beautiful and dog friendly beaches and town Centre.

Very happy with all elements of the accommodation, comfort, facilities and cleanliness.

Especially the off street car parking that goes with the property. We would have had great difficulty finding a nearby parking space during the last week of March, let alone during high season. Would greatly recommend this property due to its ease of access to the town centre and beaches (without the need to use a vehicle).

What an absolute fantastic listing.

Spotlessly clean, with everything you could wish for. Really nice touch having the little gift pack when we arrived. We stayed over the new year. Contact was brilliant and provided all information required. Contactable throughout always willing to give information. Brilliant!!! Will definitely be coming back.

The owner kindly called us early to inform us the property was ready, which was lovely after a 3 hour drive, on arrival at the property we found, the 3rd back bedroom locked, so could only use 2 bedrooms, understand we was a small family.

But would have liked to access all rooms, from arrival, so could choose which room to sleep in. we contacted the owner on the second day, to ask for it to be unlocked, due to front bedroom letting in to much light. Owner agreed to unlock the 3rd bedroom, coming in to do so when we was out. The childrens bedroom has a PlayStation available not a xbox like described, The general cleanliness of the property was overall ok, but windows were very dirty, inside and out. Personally i felt there was to many items in the property which was not needed, making the property cluttered. We had to move a lot of things to make space, The property needs some Maintenance, one window in the living room would not open, most windows upstairs would not shut, when it rains the drains outside drip, its all you can hear in the nigh. The heating is controlled by owner, you have to text them for it to be turned up. Your not left a front door key, only having access to the back door, leading into a very small kitchen. No space to take coats / shoes off. The property location is very good, you can walk to beach, town and supermarket.

Excellent welcome pack so didn't have to go to the shops immediately. Close to all amenities and the beaches. look forward to going back at some point.

We had a wonderful stay at Dringarth.

The house is in an excellent position, convenient for the beach and town. The owners were easy to reach and very friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Having a parking space was such a bonus, it is a little tight but we fitted a large vehicle on there with space to get around.

It has everything you could possibly need. Having a parking space and some outside space was a real bonus! Having a few essentials left for us on arrival was a lovely suprise :) The location is superb! A supermarket, beach, restaurants and shops all a very short walk away. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend both the house and Tenby to anyone wanting a relaxing UK holiday.

Can't rate it high enough , perfect location off road parking a bonus as street parking is a nightmare ,secure garden for our dog,and a lovely warm and friendly welcome.

Everything was just perfect

A perfect spot in Tenby just minutes from the beautiful beaches, the quay and lovely pubs in the town centre!

All the pubs have sun-trapped beer gardens and there’s lots of fish n chip shops too! Dringarth is extremely spacious with a cosy family vibe with a perfect outside dining area where you can watch the sun setting.

This was our second stay at Dringarth and it did not disappoint.

The house is so clean and homely and has everything you need. The parking is an added extra along with the enclosed garden for our pup. Jamie and Sara are lovely owners who are always available if you ever need them and they have a lovely welcome ready for when you arrive. Hopefully we will be returning again next year. Fantastic property, very spacious and had everything we needed.

Ideal location within easy walking distance to the beach, a large supermarket and the main street with the bars and restaurants. Nice enclosed garden that gets the sun! Parking is really useful although it is difficult to access the drive if someone is in the parking space opposite.

We had a lovely stay, it was close to the south beach and to the town.

We found the accommodation delightful, roomy for our family of 4 plus dog plus granny and grandad. We arrived to load bread, butter and short bread and a selection of jams which was most welcome. The decor was homely, we had a great time staying at this town house and could not have wanted for more. We even manyto parke two cars into the driveway.

It is in a quiet street but within a ten minute walk of anywhere. Extremely convenient for the multi-storey car park and Sainsburys. The property is well appointed and very comfortable. Tenby is delightful. I would definitely recommend Dringarth to anyone who likes a seaside holiday alongside the convenience of a town.

Property had everything we needed for our stay.

It was nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. Only a short walk to beaches, supermarket, town centre, restaurants and bars. Parking space is a big bonus, however our party of 6 adults brought 3 cars and we were able to get street parking for the other 2 cars. I would definitely recommend a stay at this property.

This property was like home from home, very comfortable & clean.

6 adults a 3 year old & a small dog. We were not on top of each other only when in the kitchen at times. Perfect spot so close to beach & town. Everything you needed a very beautiful holiday cottage. Would definitely recommend & would definitely return. Thank you.

Lovely house on a pretty quiet street a matter of 5 minutes walk to the town.

Has pretty much everything you'd need. Plenty of flexibility on sleeping arrangements and my daughter loved the bunk bed. Plenty of space in the house. Ideal in the area also because it's pretty much the only house on that estate which has off-street parking which is pretty decent size. Sainsburys and good chip-shops are within a couple minutes walk.

Fantastic property in an excellent location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for the New Year 2023/24. This house has all the amenities and we didn't want for anything. Bedrooms are very spacious providing ample room for your stay. Sky TV and WiFi provided. The owners Jamie & Sara also added a little extra touch by providing us with bread, milk, butter, etc and a lovely bottle of Prosecco and Chocolates to help celebrate the new year in style. This property is also dog friendly and my little pooch had a fabulous time. In addition to all this, the property has its own drive which is so useful as everyone knows how difficult it can be to park whilst visiting Tenby during busy periods. I would definitely recommend this property as our stay was seamless from start to finish and I am looking forward to booking again soon. Thankyou ☺️.

Dringarth, close to town, well placed to beach and off road parking.

Comfortable for humans and dog, heating was welcome, functional kitchen with working hob and oven such a bonus. Downstairs wet room and shower was vital when it rained. Straightforward contact with hosts with easy to follow tips for recycling and settling in. Parking though tricky initially with care was straightforward. Leaving the driveway was made awkward by cars parking dirctly opposite the driveway. All in all a very good stay. Thank you.

Fantastic communication with a personal touch of a phone call to go through all the details about the property when we arrived. Dringarth is perfectly located with the added extras of parking and an enclosed garden. The house is homely and spacious. There is nothing that we could improve or complain about. We had an amazing stay and hope to visit Dringarth again.. We would highly recommend.

We had a great week at Dringarth, the house is in a perfect position midway between the dog friendly beach and the town.

The house has everything you need, very well equipped. The only improvement would be either curtain or a blackout blind in the bedrooms as the sun is bright from 4am onwards in the spring.

Very comfortable property.

Well maintained and well stocked. Rooms are light and airy and comfortable. Positioned well within Tenby for amenities and walking distance to harbour. Due to being an old town, parking is a nightmare. Even though Dringarth had its own hard standing, getting on to drive is a hassle due to others parking.

Dringarth is the best cottage we have ever stayed in.

It has everything you could possibly need. It was spotless and felt very homely. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked for next year.

Every room was comfortable and spacious and clean. Bedrooms lovely with nice comfy beds. Downstairs shower room perfect.

We had a lovely visit to Tenby and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Dringarth cottage. We appreciated the trouble that the owners have taken in all the touches that make the cottage feel like a real home from home. We also loved the fact that we could park the car for the week and just walk everywhere, with the town and the beach being so close at hand. We will be back!

We had an amazing week.

The cottage is in a great location and the owners went above and beyond with the Christmas decorations and treats for us. The cottage was very comfy and clean - we didn’t want to leave.

This cottage was very spacious, clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated throughout.

The photos on the website don’t do this property justice. It’s in a great location to Tenby town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. It was also lovely to find a cottage that allows dogs. Will definitely be back to this cottage for a holiday.

Well what can say this property was absolutely amazing my twin great grandsons who are 6 years old really loved it the house was a great start to the holiday I would like to thank the owners for such a perfect holiday THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN

A delightful cottage, so comfortable, they had thought about all our needs, I can see this would suit families with younger children, and older groups alike.

Perfect location near the walled town and beautiful long sandy beach. I thoroughly recommend this holiday home.

A lovely cottage which is very comfortable.

It has everything you need for a break away. The location is perfect for South Beach and to get into town - only a 5 minute walk to both. We would highly recommend Dringarth

This was our 4th Oct half term in Tenby as a family and we found this house to be perfect, so well equipped and a high standard.

I’m not sure why but from experience we often find places that accept dogs to be slightly lower spec, but this was def not the case with this property.

We loved the spaciousness and warmth of the cottage.

A lovely house, the photos don't do it justice, clean, well equipped and in an excellent location - a few minutes walking distance to the town centre and beaches, but away from holiday crowds.

Off road parking space is a little tricky to get into, unless you have a small car, but worth the effort.

Hi everyone, we had a great holiday at Dringarth.

The photos don't quite do it justice, and it really is just a short walk from a fab beach with everything you need including loos, snacks, drinks and icecreams.

We had an excellent holiday staying at Dringarth and the owners could not have been more helpful.

The cottage is very well appointed with plenty of space and everything worked well. The three bedrooms are a good size, supported by two good sized bathrooms. There is a small patio garden which receives the evening sun. The parking space is valuable and you can park two smaller cars there at a push. Dringarth is excellently situated for Tenby centre and beaches, within a ten minute walk. Tenby is a very attractive and busy small town in an unparalleled picturesque seaside location which is a delight to walk around.

The house is beautiful and the thought the hosts have put into all the little extras is amazing we could not have asked for a better holiday, it really is a home from home very comfortable we wanted for nothing.

We would highly recommended it.

This property is a perfect Base for the beach and town of Tenby.

Only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The accommodation is lovely with all the facilities you will need. Plenty of space. Would comfortably sleep 6 adults or a large family. Owners are on hand all the time. Would definitely recommend this property. Not ideal if you cannot manage stairs or steep hills.

Perfect home from home cottage.

Beautifully decorated, all ages of the party loved it especially the kids with the toys and their bedroom. Thoroughly cleaned throughout. Great location in Tenby, 5 min walk to main city centre and beach. 100% would recommend this property and would love to visit again soon. Hosts lovely and welcoming.

Tenby is the perfect seaside resort in our eyes.

It has something for everyone, we are a family of two adults, two teenagers and one puppy. We had everything we could possibly ask for including little things like dog bowls etc. We added to the seaside collection of buckets and spades which is such a good idea. If you are looking to order shopping then use Asda. We had a large delivery of heavy items and didn’t have to use the car all week. The off road parking at Dringarth is a huge plus. It is ideally located near to south beach for dog walking and close to town for strolling around the many bars, restaurants and cafes. South beach is rugged and wild and perfect for dogs. Whereas north beach with its ruined castle, harbour and sandy beach is beautiful. We will definitely be back and consider Tenby to be one of our favourite places now. I am choosy about places and cleanliness/decor and I was impressed by every aspect of both Tenby and Dringarth. One note is that if you have a teenage boy then take their own games console because they are choosy about modern games and the platform they use. The Xbox provided is old and our son is used to downloading the latest games and playing online with friends. However because of this he did actually enjoy some time outside so it’s personal choice I suppose. Thankyou Sykes, Dringarth and Tenby.

Dringarth is a beautifully presented cottage with all the facilities one requires.

It's situation in a quiet area of a busy seaside resort is excellent. Five to ten minutes walk to the pretty town centre and a selection of beaches and a good sized supermarket three minutes away. The off road car parking is a bonus (our's did'nt move all week). The little thoughtful things provided by the owners (selection of childrens toys and books, buckets and spades outside and bits and pieces to keep dogs happy) were greatly appreciated.

Lovely cottage and really spacious everything we needed was there and in a great location just a few minutes walk in either direction to the beaches especially south beach we found a little trail to go down near the golf club so we wasn't on the road with the dogs so they were happy :-)

Everything we needed and more. Took our large pooch with us and he was relaxed as there was plenty of space. House was spotless in an excellent location for the town center and beaches. Kids loved the house also and with the two bathrooms there was no squabbling. Will love to return on next trip to Tenby.

Dringarth was clean, comfortable and warm.

The owner met us and had put the kettle on. This was our second visit and we enjoyed our holiday as much as our first week at Dringarth The cottage is situated very well for walking into Tenby and the local supermarket. The beach is also very close by. In fact, once you are there, a car isn't really necessary. We will probably return next year for a third time. Still some fabulous beaches to see in the area and all dog friendly at this time of the year. All in all, a very relaxing lovely week.

The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and clearly work hard to keep the house beautifully clean and well presented. This was our second visit to Dringarth and we would love to stay again in the future.

The reception by owner was so welcome to us as we were shattered .

They made us pot of tea and went over all requirements.. House was cosy .Sky Q was a bonus wife was able to keep up with her soaps. Been using holiday cottage companies for 20 years mainly South Wales . To me this was there best one I have ever stayed in .The week flew by and we did not want to leave. Thank You.....

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. On site parking bay a huge bonus. The cottage is within a couple of minutes walking distance to town, railway station and beaches. I would recommend this holiday cottage.

Lovely house but parking was an issue.

This house sleeps 8 so it’s highly likely that families staying there will have a large car like we do. We were stuck on the drive all week due to not being able to reverse out due to cars parking in a non parking permit area constantly. My husband had to stay in all day on the Friday before leaving to watch for cars to leave so he could get the car off the drive. This kind of put a dampener on the holiday for us so because of this I wouldn’t stay there again,

00 am check out is rather early when you cannot get into the property until 3 pm

The cottage is a delightful property very close to all the attractions that Tenby has to offer being only about 5 minutes to the town centre and the South Beach about the same.

The property had all the amenities that you could require and was very comfortable. My son in law was very pleased the BT Sport was available because he was able to watch Manchester United play in Europe (No accounting for taste). if there are any negatives we took 2 cars and although there is parking for 1 on the drive, the parking around the property is not the best parking has always been like gold dust around Tenby and you are near to the multi storey car park (But remember to buy a parking ticket (50p for 2 hours)Overall we had a wonderful holiday and had an age range from 2 years old to 85 years old in our party. All of us had a wonderful time. Thank you very much

Perfect location and everything you need to make yourself at home straightaway - the owners have thought of everything.

Ideal for couples or families alike - everyone catered for. Big bonus is the onsite parking.

. It had every thing supplied that one could want to make a care free holiday. The gift of bread, butter,milk and welsh cakes wasa pleasing start after a long journey.
