Ffynnon Tom

Ffynnon Tom is a lovely cottage, very quiet and peaceful yet not far to drive to visit places in the area.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, Christine couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

The accommodation is very clean and the property owner next door was very friendly and helpful.

There is a pub and the coast path in walking distance. Shopping either in the next village (5 min by car) or St. Davids (20 min by car). Good Smart TV. Central heating easily adjusted by just one press of the button. The outside seating area is a bit exposed and sometimes noisy as there is a busy farm exit opposite the road. Tall people might bang their head on 3 rather low doors in the cottage. General impression: Good

Everything needed for a pleasant weekend, weather a bonus. Cycle route 4, on the doorstep. Coastal paths across the road, with rocky little cove. Pub, The Ship, don't bother, just along to next cove, The Sloop Inn, is Very good! Excellent base, worth a visit.

Christine is a wonderful human being.

Couldn’t have asked for a better host. She made mine and my partners stay all the better. Bed was very comfy and Trefin was very peaceful. Accommodation had everything we needed. Please don’t hesitate to book and say hello to Bonnie the Schnoodle from us. Billy and Ella ✌️

It is a superb little accommodation. Spotlessly clean, great comfy bed,warm,very well equipped and great shower. Lovely little village with great walks all round. Close to St David's or Fishguard for food shopping(st davids has an excellent Nisa) The owner is lovely and always on hand to help if needed. We will visit again soon.

Owner very welcoming and friendly, cottage was very cosy and had most of the things you could want,there were walks from the door step coastal path near by, visited St Davids, Tenby ,sandersfoot locals informative and welcoming.

Couple of nice pubs and restaurants had a lovely steak at the Sloop Inn

Ffynon Tom was a lovely place in which to stay for our short break in Pembrokeshire.

We had a lovely weeks stay for a fantastic price.

The cottage has everything you need for a home base whilst you're staying in the area. Everything was clean and well presented and the host couldn't have been friendlier!

Lovely cosy cottage with character all in very good condition with everything provided I could need.

With a super shower, a nice comfy bed and heating which always kept it nice and warm. Located in a nice quiet village with just a little walk to the coast paths which I enjoyed exploring from the cottage. With so many lovely places and walks just a short drive away all made for a great holiday.

This is a lovely little property, ideal for a couple and having everything you need for a comfortable stay.

It's situation in Trefin is great for a peaceful holiday. After a 5min walk you are on the Pembrokeshire coast path. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She really wants you to enjoy your stay. I'd recommend it.

The cottage is in a great location for exploring Pembrokeshire, with coast path a short walk away.

We had everything we needed for our stay and it was all pristine. Christine made us feel very welcome and was always available for us.

Nice welcome pack on arrival, very nice owner who lives on site, plenty of local information in cottage giving plenty to do and see.

Christine was a marvelous host. The cottage is spotless everything you need.is there. Pub just a short walk. Met up with an old friend we had not seen for 53 years. Absolutely beautiful area. The online information maybe needs updating, as I didn’t need to bring towels, and the cottage is no longer yellow with red windows.

But these are minor points. The cottage was extremely cosy and comfortable, with every need well catered for. The bed was more comfortable than my one at home! The off road parking area was much appreciated, though due to the heatwave I didn’t use the outdoor seating area. The owner who lives opposite is very friendly and helpful. The cottage’s location is ideal for walking on the coastal path, or visiting the numerous little bays in the area. Everything is within a short drive, including St David’s, and boat trips around Ramsey and Skomer Islands leave St Justinian’s regularly. Trefin is a quiet, charming village with a relaxing, happy vibe, and the Ship Inn provides good ale and meals. I didn’t want to leave!

Although it's tiny and only suitable for two people it is well equipped, comfortable, clean and well maintained. The owner lives next door and is very friendly and helpful without encroaching on your privacy. Highly recommend this cottage for seeing the area.

The property is in a great location close to the coastal path and the owners are on hand if required to offer local knowledge, address any issues, or just for a friendly chat.

Absolutely wonderful cottage in a very quiet place just what was needed for our first holiday since the pandemic began.

We are looking forward to going back to an area of beauty with lovely walks straight from the door.

The property is clean, comfortable, works well and is admirably placed for access to the coastal path and the main road, minimising driving on the tiny lanes.

The owner is helpful and conscientious. We would return to it if we wished to return to this area.

All utensils and crockery intact and in perfect condition. Lovely friendly owners who were on hand and helpful. Not a lot to do in the hamlet but definitely need to praise the high standards maintained.

It was a comfortable holiday house for two with everything we needed in the kitchen etc already there.

The owners are living next door and are a delight to talk too with a wealth of local knowledge and ideas of things to see.

What a fantastic little cottage is Ffynnon Tom!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is perfect for couples with everything you need for your holiday. Mr & Mrs Reynolds are the lovely couple who own the cottage and they are just perfect. Such a friendly and helpful couple. We chose to stay in Trefin because of its location to the coastal path, which is within walking distance of an incredible section of the path. The sunsets over the sea, at the end of the village, are spectacular.

The property was exactly as advertised but actually exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, warm, cosy, and very well equipped. the hosts were great, sorting out a couple of small problems quickly and efficiently. I hasten to add that the problems were our fault! They were always there when needed. The village was interesting. Check out the second hand books in the old telephone box! Lots of lovely walks nearby with fantastic scenery. Trefin is fairly central for visiting a number of interesting villages and only a few miles from St David's which is a must to visit. There is a small Spar and a petrol station a couple of miles back up on the main road. it is well stocked. there is also a Tesco Express in Fishguard. We had a great relaxing week, and hope to return one day Ann and Gwynn Bowyer

We had a wonderful holiday at Ffynnon Tom.

It’s a delightful cosy cottage, just great for my husband and I as it’s so close to the coastal path for coastal path walking which is what we did all week. The cottage was immaculate and the owners has thought of everything that you may require in a holiday cottage. The was free view To and the internet connection was very good. The beds was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and plenty of space for clothing and food storage. Beside the parking space there was a small patio area with two chairs and a table (sun umbrella available). What a lovely little sun trap that area is and we had evenings sitting out and chatted to the owners who were very helpful, informative and interested to know how our day went without being intrusive. Trefin is such a peaceful place and Ffynnon Tom was just lovely. Hope to return one day and would definitely recommend this property especially if you intend on getting out and about on the coastal path. Thank you Mr and Mrs Reynolds for making us feel so welcome and sharing your local knowledge with us. The weather was fabulous for our stay. All in all a brilliant holiday.

Cottage comfortable good position owners friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble

This is the perfect cottage for exploring the amazing Welsh coast, as it is a few minutes walk from the coast path and it is the cosiest place to come back to after a day’s walking.

We had a wonderful time at Ffynnon Tom.

Trefin is a village close to our hearts, and this cottage is ideally placed for walks on the coastal path, with the lovely pub and beach only minutes‘ walk away too. Christine and family couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming without being in any way intrusive, thank you all so much! The cottage was pristine and comfortable, with everything needed even for the extensive cooking my partner goes in for. We felt very safe, and we will certainly come back again when we can next get to Trefin. Thank you!

Perfect location for the coastpath and activities we wanted to do.

Including being on the summer bus route. The cottage is in a secure location, close to the owners home. It was immaculately clean and the kitchen is well equipped. We hope to return next year.

A lovely barn conversion, very clean and well equipped, bedding and decor spot on.

Mr's and Mr Reynolds were friendly, obliging and nice people to talk to. Nothing to do with this great central location for touring and coastal path walks we found Corona Virus regulations meant you either cooked your own evening meal or had a take away, E.G eating out was very limited. for evenings you ideally need a couple of good books.

We greatly enjoyed our week here; we were given a friendly welcome by the owner who helped us in any way necessary.

The village itself, though not tiny, lacks facilities so ones own transport is all but essential. There are some wonderful walks nearby, some of which can be done from the cottage itself.

Nice quiet location for a relaxing break. Owners are friendly and take time to have a chat. They give you a lot of information surrounding the area, places to eat and visit. Everything is provided, I would recommend a stay here for both a short or longer stay, a home from home property, spotlessly clean, and a nice welcome from the owners. Would recommend a stay here.

This cosy cottage for two is ideally situated in the centre of Trefin perfect for exploring the North Pembrokeshire coast and countryside.

The bus services call in at Trefin which is great when you want to leave the car behind and facilitates walks along this stunning coast. The cottage is maintained to a high standard by the owners who are friendly and very helpful. It had everything I needed for my holiday which was quiet and peaceful, just what I needed. I wouln't hesitate to return to this property.

Have liked all the Sykes cottages we have rented

The cottages we have booked via Sykes have both been excellent and the letting families have been welcoming and friendly so we have very much enjoyed our stays.

The only unpleasant aspect to using the Sykes service to book a holiday (or even checking cottage availability) is being absolutely overwhelmed by the resulting number of advertising e-mails nagging us to book another. How many holidays do you think the average working couple can take in a year??? You know that we are aware of your services and, if they were any good, any consumer would automatically return to check out the possibilities for their next holiday with you first if not for fear of the subsequent assault on their inbox. All the people we know who use Sykes complain about this as well. You are alienating people not encouraging them I am cancelling the account and blacklisting you on the anti-spam utility until WE decide we might take another break - then who knows where we will look.

Everything was in excellent condition, order and quality, beautifully clean and presented, easy adjacent parking and outside seating.

The owners next door were kind and friendly and helpful. We thoroughly recommend the cottage for couples as well as for just one alone.

We had a most enjoyable and comfortable stay, the hosts were very welcoming, especially with providing milk and welsh cakes on the first day.

The fresh flowers was also most welcoming with the added touch. Great hot shower and the laundry facilities were most useful too. The location was ideal for touring North Pembrokeshire with beautiful sandy beaches and picturesque coves to be explored!

Cosy, warm and comfy with friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts (we use bikes and they kindly offered to take us the 2 miles uphill to the shops when we arrived.

We were happy to bike it, but very much appreciated the offer). The only things we missed were a bread knife/saw and a potato peeler!
