“We had a happy Easter weekend with our two grandsons here despite uninspiring West Wales weather.”

The hot tub was still hot even on a cloudy morning! The well planted and kept garden was ideal for the Easter Egg hunt. Hostess Menna was available up at the farm + helpful fetching in firewood The kitchen had 4 of everything for a place setting - dinner plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons which gives no leeway if someone joins you for a meal or some items get used in preparing the meal, so they must be washed up before the meal is served. There were several kitchen knives of various styles ...

There were several kitchen knives of various styles but only one of them was properly sharp - a failing in many holiday cottages....we should learn and bring our favourites from home maybe! There is a folder of local information - in which visitors are invited to book a visit to afternoon milking up at the farm....but we failed to read that bit until the end of our stay!
