Crickhowell is a small town in southeastern Powys, Wales. The town was named after the Iron Age hill fort of Crug Hywel. Boasting the magnificent Crickhowell Castle, also known as Alisby's Castle, with stunning views across the Usk valley and dating back to the 12th century. A stunning piece of architecture, with St Edmund's Church coming as a close second having been built in the 14th century and is still used to date for service. The town offers a selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafés in the area.
