“The house was like stepping back in time, and one of the nicest I've stayed in.”
It reminded me of my childhood home with the decor, but it wouldn't have looked right if it was modernised in any way.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need.
Beds were comfortable, large bathroom with the most gorgeous suite.
Lounge was bright and had a large window which the dog loved as he could watch the world go by.
Large garden for him to have a sniff around in, it is a wrap around garden, he ventured round to the front a couple of times, but there are railings ...

Large garden for him to have a sniff around in, it is a wrap around garden, he ventured round to the front a couple of times, but there are railings up so he couldn't get out. Gated parking at the side of the house, for a car or two, it is a bit narrow, but also parking in bays at the front.
There's a memorial park across the road, which I went to each morning with the dog, before heading out for the day, if you walk down the road opposite the house, (river on your right) is Diamond Park, which is much larger and joins a nature reserve.
There was construction work going repairing the riverbank that the owner (via Sykes) let me know about in advance, they started around 7am but it was more the generators I could hear, but with the windows closed it wasn't a problem.
Apart from the weather, (it rained a lot) but you can't have everything, this was one of my best holidays in Wales and the accommodation was perfect.
