The quaint village of Llanrhidian rests in the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) on the northern coast of South Wales, between Fairyhill and Llethryd. Renowned for its views over the estuary and salt marshes, the village holds a heritage of cockling, whilst today offering a rural escape, with a petrol station with a well-stocked shop, and a pub where visitors can relish local dishes. A short distance away on the south coast of the Gower peninsula rests the village of Oxwich, where guests can tour the remains of Oxwich Castle or spend lazy afternoons lounging amongst the sands of Oxwich beach.
