“Lovely cottage with everything you need (apart from fire logs).”

Way bigger than it looks on the website and was very cosy with comfy beds. The hot tub is amazing and we were in it every day. A little tip if staying here, DON'T buy logs from the Gulf petrol station up the road (Square and Compass). They are kept outside so if its wet then they are useless. Instead drive 8 miles to the Letterston Village Stores where you can get a big bag of logs and big bag of kindling wood for £10 which are kept in the dry. The property

Just a short drive from St Davids, Britain's smallest city and less than 5 minutes' walk from the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path, this picture perfect stone cottage has its own private hot tub to relax in at the end of the day.

It's just right for a couple or a small family wishing to explore this area.

The friendly local The Ship Inn serves pub meals and the Mill Cafe makes delicious breakfasts, teas and Sunday lunches - both are just a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Nearby is Porthgain, Abereiddy, the Blue Lagoon, Traethllyfn (National Trust beach), St Davids and Whitesands beach.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path scenery is spectacular and the coastal bus passes by the cottage and gives the chance to walk a different section of the path each day.

The offshore bird islands of Ramsey, Skomer and Skokholm are well worth a visit.

About the location

ST DAVIDS

Fishguard 15.5 miles; Pembroke 28.7 miles.

The city of St Davids is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II, it is the smallest city in the UK, with its magnificent cathedral dating back to the 12th century and the ruins of the Bishop's Palace, both wonderful buildings to explore. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is a delightful place with an array of unique shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery. Nearby Whitesands Bay is one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, and walkers will delight in the spectacular views from the coastal path which runs around the complete coastline of Pembrokeshire. Local buses will help with your walking plans, so that you can walk several stretches of the path with totally different landscapes and views each day. Dolphin spotting from land or from the many boat trips to local islands are a must, and are also perfect for enjoying the wonderful array of birds in their natural habitat. St Davids is the perfect holiday destination, whether you are looking for a quiet relaxing break, wonderful walking, a round of golf, an exploration of magnificent castles or fun-filled days at Oakwood Theme Park, farm parks and much more.
