    “Lovely comfortable holiday cottage.”

Very conveniently located. We have stayed in Newport many times, this was one of the nicest properties we have stayed in there. Very comfortable, great for dog walks. Garden very secure for most dogs, except ours, but we do have a miniature daschund who is an escape artist!!! The only downside was the weather!

The property

This stylishly-furnished home, The Croft, is located in the charming town of Newport just a short stroll from the coast.

This inviting home, which is spread out on one level, warmly welcomes families looking to explore north Pembrokeshire from Cardigan down towards St Davids.

Park in one of the two accessible off-road parking places on the driveway, then unpack your baggage and enter your new home away from home with ease.

Give the designated cook some room in the kitchen, which is equipped with a variety of cooking aids, and a handy washer/dryer that is likely to be useful after a day at the beach.

The open-plan living/dining area is spacious, with double doors leading to the backyard, and features a beautiful woodburning stove that will be enjoyed during the colder months.

Before retiring to either of the bedrooms, take a brief trip to the bathroom and choose between a bath or a shower to get ready for bed.

A king-size bed and a twin bed are in each bedroom, which also has plenty of storage for your personal items and zip/link beds for further flexibility.

Set out for the nearby town, where a light lunch can be enjoyed at Tides Kitchen & Wine Bar or Blas @ Fronlas, or for an evening meal, try out the Castle Inn or Golden Lion.

When you head to Newport Beach, where you may paddle the coastlines, relax in the sun with your favourite book, or grab a bite to eat from the neighbouring Cat Rock Café at Newport Golf Club.

Then stretch your legs by taking in the visual delights along popular Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

The hikers of the group can likewise travel inland to explore Mynydd Carningli in the Preseli Hills or take in the historic serenity of the remarkable Neolithic Burial Chamber at nearby Pentre Ifan.

The nature enthusiasts of the group will want to visit Cilgerran's Wildlife Centre, which can be followed-up with some retail therapy in the historic market town of Cardigan, which witnessed the fist ever Welsh Eisteddfod in its castle, in 1176.

The Croft is the perfect abode for a memorable trip to Pembrokeshire.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
