    “Great location for touring Pembrokeshire.”

Comfortable, good value, welcoming, clean and clear information. Well equipped... perhaps a grab rail for getting out of bath? Parking spot v tight. Pleasant views from cottage.

The cottage style apartment is within a modern development that includes the well regarded Cornstore Café (serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea) and during summer months it’s possible to hire a paddleboard, or rowboat, to explore the Castle millpond.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs immediately adjacent to the development and is linked to a series of cycleways and footpaths.

It’s just a few steps from the property to a choice of pub restaurants overlooking the Castle Millpond and only slightly further to the small High Street with its famous castle, museum, independent shops, café’s, takeaways and restaurants. The property is a cottage style apartment with its own private entrance.

It will comfortably accommodate 4 people within 2 bedrooms.

One bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom two adult sized 3ft single beds.

To ensure a comfortable stay all beds all feature John Lewis pocket sprung mattresses, high quality bed linen and a selection of pillows.

The property offers a large open plan lounge, kitchen, dining room with windows offering glimpses of Pembroke Castle and the Millpond.

The kitchen provides an integrated electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge freezer, washing machine and a Tassimo coffee machine.

There’s a large round dining table and comfortable chairs for dining. The living area features comfortable seating plus a large Smart TV, DVD player and wide selection of movies, games and high-speed fibre WiFi internet for guest use.

The property has a contemporary bathroom featuring a bath with shower over, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

The property has an allocated covered parking space available within the development for guest use, plus further public parking available nearby.

The property is on the coastal path and within walking distance of bus and rail transport. Pembroke itself offers visitors the hugely impressive medieval castle, its small high street offers a range of independent stores including a well-regarded Welsh delicatessen.

Just outside Pembroke is a range of incredible beaches including the famous Barafundle Bay or for Harry Potter fans a chance to visit ‘Dobbie’s Grave’ on Freshwater West, or to walk around the Bosherton Millponds or to follow in King Charles recent footsteps with a visit to the iconic St Govan’s Chapel. The area offers some stunning scenery, including the Preseli Mountains, Marloes, the Cathedral City of St Davids, Caldey Island and Skomer Islands (home to Puffin colonies) plus the iconic seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot. For a gastronomic experience then some of Wales top restaurants are nearby in Pembrokeshire – including Coast of Saundersfoot, The Grove Hotel (the most incredible afternoon tea experience), The Stackpole Inn, The Stonecrab in Saundersfoot, Annwn in Lawrenny, Point House in Angle, Ultracomida in Narberth.

Previous guests have been very positive about The Cornstore Café (run by the same group that operate Coast and The Grove Hotel), The Royal George and Watermans Arms pubs, Rowlies Fish & Chips and the newly opened Top Joes Pizzeria all within walking distance. For visiting families then within a short distance, you will find Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton, Folly Farm, Tenby Zoo, Dinosaur World, Go Karting, Quad Biking to name but a few local popular attractions within Southern Pembrokeshire.

Pembrokeshire is also home of the best white sand and gently sloping beaches anywhere in the UK! All guests staying at Cornstore Cottage will enjoy a welcome pack to provide refreshment on arrival including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, Welsh cakes and locally made shortbread biscuits.

We provide freshly laundered white towels for guest use within the property and for two-week bookings we offer a mid-stay laundry and towel changeover. Guests have enjoyed staying here since 2021 and have consistently commented on the high standards of cleanliness, quality of furnishings and its convenience for exploring the town and surrounding national park.

[The property is under the same family ownership since it was first let but has been renamed Cornstore Cottage from Castle View for 2023 to avoid confusion with other local properties that adopted the same name].
