“The chalet was as described and well presented.”

The welcome gifts were appreciated. The living room chairs were very comfortable. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. We were not convinced that the fitted sheet on the main bed was fresh, it had marks on it and was grey instead of white. It was certainly tired. The oven pans were really thick with grease and took some scrubbing before use. One pan had debris in it. The mattresses are cheap budget items with almost no material above the wire frame. We had to borrow two toppers from my son who has a place in Wales because the mattresses are so awful. It's a shame because a small investment in mattress toppers this would be fine. If the bed issue was fixed then we would recommend it as a budget holiday.

My cleaner is a professional who also cleans other chalets on site, and she has never received any complaints, so I was saddened to read your review. I personally wash and launder the bedding, which in this case was cream-coloured. Both beds have mattresses and mattress toppers. Constructive criticism from guests is crucial for chalet owners, as we need to address and act on it. I’m aware you had my personal telephone number, and I wish you had called me because I’m nearby. My priority is always my guests. I want them to leave Willow relaxed and happy, having enjoyed their stay on the beautiful Welsh coast in a wonderful and clean chalet. Thanks, Stella. Property Owner
