“Saundersfoot is a quaint little seaside town with an abundance of character.”
The beaches are excellent and clean but if you wish to go a little further afield there is Amroth about 15 minutes to the east and Tenby which takes a similar time to get to on the west side.
Tenby is a busy town with a good number of shops, bars and restaurants and is well worh a visit. If you like seafood, Plantagenet House in Tenby is well worth a visit.
As far as our holiday home, Rhodewood Lodge, is concerned we couldn't fault it in the slightest. More expensive than what we have paid for previous holiday lets but well worth the money. I suppose its the old adage "you get what you pay for!" It is situated at the top of a steep hill but all the beaches are easily accessble on foot. The Lodge is unbelievably well equipped. The kitchen and living spaces are excellent as are the bedrooms. The beds are very comfortable and clean and although I can be a light sleeper I slept very well every night. Must be the sea air!
Although younger children need to be supervised in the garden, which slopes, it is well maintained and the grandchildren especially loved the hammock. And for those of you who enjoy a glass of prosecco in a hot tub, you won't be disappointed.
